Hello to all. I (and surely many others) would be very grateful if the mod versions would have a description that indicates with which version of the game they are compatible. for example I found out from a forum (don't remember where) that the 1.72 is compatible with pre next gen version 1.10.163 but don't know which version should I use for next gen versions 980 and 984 should I upgrade someday. and if there is a way of knowing which mod version goes with which game version that I'm unaware of, I'd appreciate it if someone told me about it
Many posts say its abandonware, but it has been updated since, any clarity on this situation? I didn't update to next gen as I understand its game breaking, so I'm not updating many of my mods. this one appears to have an optional file for pre next gen, can anyone say what the January 28, 2025 update, and February 4, 2025 legacy support files add?
The fact that this still gets updates even after my last download two years ago, is a wonderful feeling, it's more than a cheat terminal, it's a tool, an alternate storage, a bug fixer, a character editor, a resource that I refuse to play Fallout 4 without.
not sure if its a glitch right now but the tape seems to be missing for me in 2 spots, was reading through the comments to see if anyone else had the same issue or something, any ideas?
Yeah, I've had the same problem, tape isn't in the inventory. I added it through console commands and then when I tried to use a command it wouldn't work. Same problem when I would build a workshop cheat terminal.
Missing holotape? No problem. player.additem (xx)001735 1
Mine was missing on a fresh install of FO4 GOG version on a new Win11 pc using Vortex. All my other playthroughs were on Win10 and had no problems... errr, well... none related to this mod.
I spoke too soon. Holotape added by console command didn't work properly. For example, set strength to 10 didn't change value. Built terminal in workshop. It didn't work either.
This issue isn't caused by user error. If the mod wasn't properly installed, I wouldn't see all the Cheat Terminal entries in my FORMs while in-game. A simple fix through xEdit for the quest was enough to resolve this mod issue, and you can also manually add the holotape through the console.
While the ID varies depending on the load order, it's relatively easy to find for the reference mine was: 04001735
If you plan to fix this by adding proper triggers to the quest, that's up to you. However, I highly recommend checking out how other mods handle holotapes since NG update, for guidance.
I just wanted to clarify that no one in this thread is complaining. I mentioned the issue with the mod and offered some feedback to help others resolve it.
It's important to keep the community spirit positive. Insulting others or dismissing feedback isn't helpful for anyone, especially when we're all here to assist each other with any problems that come up.
I also fixed some of the perk descriptions while I was at it.
Just as a heads up. I don't know the author, his partner or anyone else involved with the development of the mod, but just to let you know, the mod is abandoned as the author was banned and his partner hasn't logged into Nexus since March of 2023. There won't be any updates to this mod, so for those of you who want to use the latest version of this mod, you have to get the Steam version, including the dlc.
I know a lot of you will be upset, shocked, and/or frustrated hearing this, and I also know that it sounds hard to believe coming from some random Nexus user, however reality is something we have to face. I'm not sure if the author will allow someone else to continue the development of the mod, hell I don't even know if the author will allow the continuation of his mod, so it's more than likely the mod will never be updated. Do I really know that? No, I'm just guessing based on the situation, that the continuation of this mod may not ever see the light of day. Maybe someone will pick up development of the mod, depending on how the author's feeling, however we'll just have to wait and see.
Sorry for the bad news guys. If you don't believe me, take a look in the forums section of this mod. First topic. It's a year old, but since the author is banned, it still stands.
Yeah, me too. According to one of his replies to another user, he stopped working on the mod due to people constantly saying it doesn't work, without providing any context as to why the mod might not work.
The reply in question "I don't know why, but you're like the 50th person to report this same issue with NO CONTEXT! Do you think I just know what Fallout instance you have? What DLCs you do or don't have? What mods you're running? These absolute nonsense "IT DOESN'T WORK LOL!" posts are why I quit working on this mod in the first place! IT'S SO ANNOYING! STOP IT!"

Don't download 1.73 if you are staying on .163 forever.
Thanks for your time
Edit: Cannot believe the game calls them Ammo. I found them inside ammo.
Missing holotape? No problem.

Version 1.72 is working for me. Thanks.
