So, just a heads up to anyone who might be downloading this as a quick method to get all the magazines for testing their own code and/or mods. The bat includes an extra Massachusetts Surgical Journal that the game doesn't really use, which seems to prevent the real version of that particular magazine from spawning. Judging by everyone's testimonies here, the magazine probably still counts toward the Achievement, but it will be listed in your inventory without a caps value and seems to be generally unintended for use.
To fix this, simply remove the extra entry, and your good to go.
Otherwise, great mod! Saved me quite a bit of time with my playtesting.

Do you want to add them to your inventory instead of having them thrown on the ground? I did so I made this. Just copy the following text and replace it in your mag.txt file and save as addmag.txt. Then when using it type in the console "bat addmag". Cheers.

Thank you for this. Since I restart my characters quite often, I did not want to have to go through with this crap every single time. Gonna be very helpful.
It is really quite simple to get the perk doing it this way all you have to do is put them all into a container and then take them out one by one and you will get the perks and the achievement !
Just rename the file "mag" to "addmag" and write "bat addmag" in the console and do not forget to transfer it to the "Data" folder of the game, otherwise it will not start.
so this "mod" broke my save pressed download with nmm, when that failed i uninstalled it and downloaded it manually put the txt file in fallout 4, but game crashes now, so i removed the txt and game still crash

A stupid question i want to ask, what would happen if i have already got some magazine before spawn them? What i am trying to say is, i have 2 gun&bullet mag, then i spawn all of them, i still only got 10 perk right? or 12?
So I installed this via the NMM and it's not letting me activate it but it allows me to with every other mod I install. will it still allow me to use the BAT files? or will i have to manually install the mod to be able to correctly use the BAT files?
Any chance you might do one for just the building/settlement related magazines, and/or the hairstyles and tattoos? Basically just the ones that give various cosmetic options and not any actual, mechanical benefits.
Either way I'll download this for now, I'm starting to hate trying to chase down the magazines I want to make a cool looking character and settlement. XD
