Hi PSC87 - There is a saying I like which is, "You can't hit the ball if you don't swing the bat!" The reason I share this saying is that this is me swinging the bat:
Do you by any chance play starfield? The game could really use a Place in Red mod made for it.
If you don't play it or don't like it, fair enough, but i figured, it can't hurt to ask.
Would love to see more updates for the mod, like the workshop not quitting when you get out of the borders idea, and keybinds for the microsoft store version haha
I installed with MO2. I configured the hotkey settings in game with the mod menu, however when I go to build and press the hotkey it does not work. I play with a controller and i tried using kbm but still, nothing.
Hi! I’m having an issue with the plugin version on FOLON, the mod is recognised in the MCM and allows me to assign hot keys, but when I press the assigned hot keys in build nothing happens. But, if I open the console it states:
Pir toggle command: pir toogle Script command “pir” not found.
does anyone know what might be causing this? And what I can do to allow it to function correctly? thanks in advance
Seems like the plugin didn't load. Do you see a log file you can post (..\My Games\Fallout4\F4SE\PlaceInRed.log)
If there isn't one, then the plugin isn't installed correctly. Check the .dll and .ini files exist here: ...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\Plugins\PlaceInRed.dll
So there is no log in the my games file directory location as you rightly suspected, BUT the placeinred.dll and the .ini file are both in the data/f4se/plugins folder.
Yep! Definitely been booting the game through the loader, also I think with FOLON installed it’s mandatory anyway. All the other additional mods I’ve add on top of FOLON seem to be functioning as intended though, but I am playing with the GOG version; could that have anything to do with it? It’s so odd that MCM is recognising it but it isn’t functional.
I'm having problems with the xbox pc version because none of the commands and keybinds work, I'm supposed to just download the mod, extract it, then put it in the data folder right?
So i loaded onto the new xbox gamepass pc version and none of the options worked, neither F1, F2, F3, etc, how do i really install it? Because i may have done something wrong idk haha great mod
Works amazing dude, but could you add a function to be able to be outside the workshop bounds without timer? Could be useful for making entrances to places like hangmans alley or spectacle island
For a working workshop timer on the xbox table until it's officially updated: 1. right click place in red option > change script > erase all the text inside to clear it out 2. Go here and copy all the text (new script): https://pastebin.com/raw/6kC6f44j 3. Paste in to the script box in cheat engine and click ok. 4. restart the game if needed so memory is fresh, and try again
I can only toggle no ground snapping and no outline, they work fine but I couldnt get others to work. I am playing on xbox pc version I odnt know if it has anything to do with my problem but it is the reason that I cannot use the f4se.

For some reason I can't get PA to work at all.
Installed this. Chef's kiss, no issues.
Using current version of the game with NG update. Works exactly as intended
Place Anywhere is a great mod and I'd recommend players try it too, if they haven't already
1. right click place in red option > change script > erase all the text inside to clear it out

If there are other versions I can look in to them (if they are accessible via PC and don't cost a ton)
