Damanding has agreed to take over future development of Homemaker!  He'll be primarily uploading on Bethnet, but I'll be making sure the versions stay current here as well.  Version 1.74 contains a lot of QOL improvements, bug fixes, new and better snap points, mod integrations (like Do It Yourshelf) and more! Version 1.75 contains new prewar content by Gloolax.  1.76 Contains yet more pre-war content from Gloolax and MunkySpunk.  Fog Condensers are being worked on, but were shelved from this release due to an issue with materials.

Upgrade Gloolax to 4k textures instructions here: https://damanding.xyz/homemaker-gloolax-content/

    Troubleshooting Guide (link here: https://damanding.xyz/troubleshooting-workshop-mod-installs/)

For those having issues with the new update: The problems people seem to be having seem to be tied to existing saves, or not having SMM installed. Install SMM, run the SMM holotape menu fix option in game. Then install the Homemaker Menu Fixer in the optional files.

yes. it works. i'm using "old file" without redundants version 1.73

Homemaker IR is the last tab in the build menu, then > decorations > landscape > paths = the floors i mentioned.

i also like the brightness and radius of the 2nd "street lamp" found in the Homemaker IR "power" category.

    Hey Guys.
I hope someone here can help me.
    Let me explain my problem:

After a while, i came back playing Fallout 4, i have not updated to "Nex
Gen". But after a while i noticed issues with some lights from the Homemaker  mod,
lights seem to emit light in their area but there's no light at the center/bulb. All the vanilla lights and other mod lights look fine.
So, i was going to make a refresh install - noticed a new version (1.76) and the new requirement: the SMM mod.
So, i first installed SMM, then the new Homemaker 1.76.
The issue with lights was not gone, so i wanted to check some other lights -
but now the Vanilla "lights"-category in the "power"-menu is gone.
I now, there is a new one in the Homemaker-menu, but there are any lamps
not shown in the menu - for example the "industrial wall light" and some
of my other lights from other mods which i always had in the
    vanilla-category.

So, i was looking for a solution:
I checked and run the "Menu-fixer" tools from both mods (from the
SMM-holotape and the optional "menu-fixer" file from Homemaker)
    This didn`t help.
    I found some other tools:
    Missing Settlement Categories Fix
    Workshop Menu Missing Tabs Fix
    and Workshop Menu Fixer

ALL of this didn`t help and brought me back the vanilla "lights"-category to my workshop menu.
Ok, that wouldn`t be very dramatic since there is a category for it in the
Homemaker-Menu. But there are not ALL of the lights i had before.

Any other idea how i can solve this problem?

...And just in case this could help - here is the Checking Result from Workshop Menu Fixer:

"There are no empty entries in the workshop`s construction menu, so fixing is not needed.

However, one or more other issues have been detected...

Workshop menus can be checked again... etc"

      second message:

      "***Duplicates found***
There are menu category entries which appear in more than one place within the workshop`s construction menu.
They might be harmless, or might cause menus to not be shown correctly, or might the game to hang or crash to windows desktop.
This is a potentially risky problem, but unfortunately can not be fixed at this time."

I don`t have crashes, so i guess the problems are harmless but quite annoying.

      EDIT:
nevermind - i think i solved it... there was an old mod installed, the OC Decorator with many patches, so i deactivated it all, and now everything seems to work fine.
Sorry, i totally forgot this old mod.

      same here.

      Edit:
at my end, it seems like this issue only appears at the "hanging lights".

I assume you used Next Gen? I'm not surprised, ditch that version and downgrade to pre NG/1.10.163 instead it solve almost all of my problem
Dozens of mod obsolete if you used NG

I have a problem that the Homemaker icon is not showing up in the workshop crafting menu. I use ocdecorater too which does show up in the menu. Both mods used to work for me at the same time on my previous mod set up.

How can it be that both mods played well together in the past, but now suddenly home maker is missing? Hopefully someone here can help me out.

Edit, sorry I didn't notice the part at the bottom of the sticky when I made this post. For anyone else who had my problem, the solution is as follows. "Install SMM, run the SMM holotape menu fix option in game. Then install the Homemaker Menu Fixer in the optional files."

    That fixed it for me.

Hi everyone. I just installed the mod and noticed in Hangman's Alley, when I select some decorations, trees or walls, then textures on houses become blurry.
It disappears after a few second when i move.

If you have Place Everywhere mod, press numpad 5 on the blurry thing.

This can also be fixed in console by setting modangle z 0 on the blurry thing.

I dont have any of the institute items shown in the images. The save is only 2hrs old. I did follow the steps to install it on a existing save. I'm not sure what else I'm missing. This mod was recommended as a must have for settlement building by a friend. Does this need to be a new play through for everything to show up?

Edit: Disregard. For some reason the fix was loaded before the main file, so it was just a load order problem.

Any chance we could get stacks of firewood added?
Have not seen anything like it in this mod.
Maybe other mods have it but I like to fight modbloat and so hope it might join this colecetion.

I use the lit fireplaces all the time and it seems immersive to stack firewood next to them.

    Thanks for reading!

PS: Have my game locked to .163 and do not intend to update
