Wonderful, this was too bright green at first but I edited the textures to reduce the vibrance by 50% in PS and now it's perfect along with Grasslands.
For anyone who wants tree LOD's to use with this so that distant trees also have green leaves download Seasons Spring, extract the ba2 and go to textures>terrain, there will be three folders (Commonwealth, DLC03FarHarbor, NukaWorld), install these manually and you'll be good to go. It's not perfect but definitely good enough. Also if using Grasslands, install the noise.dds file in the same folder so that the distant ground is green to tie it all together.
please use this mod and Green Commonwealth - Performance Friendly Grass Mod andSpring in the Commonwealth - A Performance Friendly Grass Mod all in one and a mod remake
Any mod author that suggests the ini change of bUseCombinedObjects=0 -- I run away from, fast. That's how you break your game people. Shame, was going to download this. It's gorgeous.
Hello. Is there anyway to fix this? I have already uninstalled this mod and remove bUseCombinedObjects=0 from ini file but the performence is still fucked up really hard
I never saw your comment, I apologize. The only way to fix it is to either: 1) recombine the cells in the CK (I have no clue how to do that), or: 2) uninstall and start a new game. There is no fix for a broken game, sorry.
You can use this mod without the bad advice he gives. Do NOT EVER use bUseCombinedObjects=0
Just install this as normal. It looks pretty good and it's a lot lighter on your system than 'A Forest' is. I also never have crashes like I get from Boston Natural.
Also, if you installed this mod you really cannot uninstall it mid game. Fallout 4 hates that at the best of times.
So I installed and used the INI edit suggested. I am not currently using the mod. I made the INI edit awhile ago, should I turn precombines back on, or would this hurt my save?
Either option will. If you continue with the 0 ini change your save is going to break. If you change it to 1 on the same save, it's too late and you'll get the same result. Sorry to be the bearer...
I would not use this mod no matter what, unless you get mod author permission to take it and update it. It's old, and full of bugs. A good rule for modding is to not touch anything older than three or four years old since the last update, and then check the bugs/comments to see how it's been working.
