For all Razer surround users: Hydraulic sounds louder in 1st person then should be. I recommend set footsteps to 50% audio level for best experience.

2016.04.23 Fixed double sound effect while running for Hydraulic version. 2016.04.23 New Sound effects (Steps, Voiced UI, Enter/Exit...) which will be based for Enclave armor X0-1. 2016.05.08 Added more variation to AI sounds.
Thanks mate, I've never made mods before, but if you don't mind I would like to give it a try with your mod, particularly the Hydraulic one. Why not the Enclave one?
Enclave is unfinished and some sounds are licensed to me by bluezone. And you or anyone esle who wants to export light, heavy, robotic, hydraulic version to consoles you are free to do so.
will there ever be a version where you have all the sounds from all the versions but they are incredibly varied? I dont like hearing the same footstep sound over and over again
man...im looking for the exact opposite of this mod and just cant find it. i just want something that makes power armor playable, without all the BANG CLANG nonsense.
guys, how do you switch the sounds, i tried reinstalling and stuff, im kind of new lol edit: nvm im dumb i only downloaded one sound, I thought I had a bunch.
How do I uninstall this without losing the vanilla sound of the armor? The steps for the Heavy build are too repetitive for my liking. I may try the Hydraulic build but I still want to know just in case how to safely uninstall this mod. I don't want to have to verify files or reinstall anything, I just downgraded. EDIT: It seems that is the only course of action. In my case, unblock the automatic updates (undo 'read only' in 'steamapps' using the Fallout 4 specific appid), verify game files, then re-downgrade the game using https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/81630?tab=description. EDIT 2: This did not work. Now I will have to reinstall my game to restore the vanilla files, very frustrating.
So truth be told, this is a phenomenal mod. These sounds are great and they really feel good. But I can't endorse this mod. After playing around with power armor for a few hours, these sounds became a little too hard to bear. Especially once you start getting things like movement speed buffs, the constant, rapid WHIR WHIR WHIR WHIR WHIR or THUD THUD THUD THUD THUD is insufferable. I now understand why the generic power armor noise is so light.
This is a fantastic mod, it really truly is, but I can't endorse it for that reason alone. If there was some way to tweak it so you only heard those noises in third person, and in first person you got vanilla sounds, that would probably be the only way I could give this a thumbs up and "must have" for every playthrough.
