I think one of my other mods to make survival mode harder have worked together with this one to make him near unbeatable lol. 100 rocket turrets, 30 heavy laser turrets, an army of minutemen from the mod, the improved artillary mod that makes artillary friken scary, and that super gun from this mod and I can't drop him 10% before he completely wrecks everything I set up roflmao.
try this mod- http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8115 adds over 2 dozen new turrets. and they don't need to be powered. I got the mod specifically for Kaiju of the Commonwealth-Godzilla, after I realized how friggin powerful he actually is.
well I tried those turrets. even downright cheated to set up several hundred of them, he still smoked me in every sense of the word. One of my addons has to be enhancing his strength because he still was near full hp.
Coming back here to say this is by far the greatest FO4 mod in existence. I recommend using FCOM to summon reinforcements as well as Undying Courser if you summon them to help fight with you. Build your base beforehand and give some extra space when fighting, his atomic breath attack has a huge radius. It's gonna be a LONG ass fight so be prepared.
Made a video highlighting some of the fights. I kept dying and my game kept crashing but it was worth. https://youtu.be/4ALeWUuFAXg
fuc* ! what a war i had ! i used prime robot id to appear more than 5 robots to fight godzilla ! and didn't worked to decrease its life ! i had to disabled it !!! it killed 30 settlements ! destroyed whole island !
Don't know why, but Godzilla never appears. Spectacle Island was changed, with the introduction of far more wrecked and beached ships, and I found the research vessel (hard to miss), read at least 2 notes, couldn't find the key to Honda's safe (wasn't on his body), and now every time I fast travel to the Island a huge explosion occurs on the beach next to the research vessel, but no lizard. Messes up my expanded settlements mod, but not really a problem with that island, it's already huge, and I've found many mods will also shrink settlement sizes back to original, so no biggie. Starting to unload individual mods to see if I can't find some conflict (god, I hate doing that, what a pain).
Edit: Oh, forgot to add, unique weapons spawned ok, and that rifle is scary.
Replying to my own post, found that I had inadvertently looted the trigger letter from somewhere, didn't know it, and hadn't read it until I found it in my inventory. The mod triggered as designed.Awesome. Godzilla killed me 3 times, overwhelmed my defenses, and did a little "Cloverfield" trick, shedding massively dangerous parasites all over my beautiful island.Lost half my settlers (I didn't have many) but it was worth it.Unbelievable battle, and Godzilla is not just a randomly fire-spewing giant, he's got NPC battle capability, makes tactical decisions, and is almost unstoppable.I finally had to go into settlement build mode and plant new turrets as I ran away (I have the bubble turret mod, so this is probably cheating). That behemoth was being hit on all sides with Liberty Prime lasers, and it just pissed him off.And he can jump on top of 5 story buildings, too. Excellent mod, can't recommend it enough!
I spent *all damn day* prepping Spectacle Island for this lol. Waited until I installed the mod to do anything there for the first time, I had it explored but nothing built. Currently in the 130s 'legitly' leveled (I mean... I use mods, but it's a hell of a lot of gametime not cheating xp) with 20-30-something days saved on this play-through. It took a couple restarts due to him chasing someone off the island and getting glitched under it... finally got a clean fight where I had to lead him around with the Megumi gun (yeah I spawned extra ammo in, I wasn't able to hurt him with anything else). I used the Building Big turrets from APC Turrets of the Commonwealth mod to plant about 6-7 tanks and apc turrets around the island, built a few watchtowers and moved half my essential companions to join the fight with a total of 13 settlers on the island when it triggered. I'll have to post screens/video later, I saved a backup 2 days before he showed up so I could just wait time it and re-do as many times as I want or change my build before he spawns. All the rocket and cryo fire from my settlers/turrets made for an entertaining fight, and the Megumi nukes are just as impressive as his scream (ear-raping is right, I had my speakers all the way up the whole time) and breath.
In the immortal words of Beavis & Butthead: This is the greatest thing... I have ever seen...
Thank you so, so so much for this mod. I'm going to go hug my cat for comfort now, as I have PTSD from Godzilla screams.
PS - I'm using older versions of almost everything... My mods are mostly up-to-date but I'm on v1.82.10 with all the corresponding FO4Edit, F4SE, CK, etc. However, with 287 mods currently installed my PC handled it nicely without any hiccups other than when Godzilla ran under the world. FPS only spiked on the breaths and nukes but it was still plenty playable with only 13 settlers firing. Had quite a few packs of mires, crawlers, and the other unique mobs that came with him. I run Bessie on mostly full-ultra settings (just drop shadows and LoD a tad) using Win7 64x with an nVidia Windforce 4gb and 16gb of ram on a 4790k i7. Quest all went as advertised with the 3 notes to trigger, the loot comes in a pile of "regurgitated crates" which I thought was genius (fixes the giant carcass issue). I endorse the f*** out of this.
Edit - Only sad note in this entire mod is the unique weapon reward, semi-spoiler warning:
Spoiler:
Show
Seems like the explosion of the Shoryureppa is triggered before the swing rather than on-hit; when you attack it explodes at your feet, staggering yourself, then lazily swings straight ahead. While the damage is still there [if you can actually land a hit], you lose control over aim once the explosion is triggered so if the enemy moves out of the way you whiff right past them. Also, if you equip it on a companion their attacks glitch out and teleport them to you with every swing as if they were attacking you instead of the enemy. I would really love to see this weapon fixed, would be a lot of fun if it worked right.
Liberty Prime is available in grenade form on Nexus. Their attacks do little to no damage to each other. So, battle was epic but unending (until Godzilla timed out).

Do you have any plans to ever update this mod?

plus a boss style legendary parasitic crawler spawned at the same time. I tried to lead them into fighting but Zilla was on my ass before I knew it
I might have to build a big safety cage with cover to hide behind and just throw nuke mines all over the fkn place. Awesome mod
