Just uploaded a new version along with an extension that adds another set of logos for a competing brand. Sirenora. Hee, hee.
Yeah, I only meant this as a wink and a nod to Elianora, with tongue firmly planted in cheek and a smirk on my lips. And I was going to let it end with the one simple mod, Buuuuut I kept thinking about my original idea that I posed to Elianora in one of her threads, that she and other MA's, like DDProductions83, might consider a joint project whereby the people of the Commonwealth go to battle for the last remnants of real, pre-war coffee. And wondering about what brands there might be became the impetus for this little mod. But it is becoming a sort of ongoing little project -- I keep thinking up more ways to embellish on this idea. I may be going too far... But then again, as long as Elianora or anyone else doesn't object, I will see where this takes us...
Let's just say I'm still looking for more objects and signage to modify, and will be adding more over time.
I've downloaded the mod, both with NMM and manually, and I cant find them anywhere. I downloaded a mod before that changed all the coffee tins to Eli's, but can't find it anymore. Help!! Other than the coffee cups, nothing has changed, it's all still Slocom Joes.
I love this mod so far! The tins and cups are really adorable!
One problem, though - I can't seem to find the posters. I may have a mod conflicting with it, but I'm not entirely sure... where should they be located? I can play around with load orders and see if that fixes it, but it'll help if I know where they're supposed to appear
Hi, thanks for the complement. The billboards and posters are scattered about the Commonwealth, but do not replace them all. They should be there, as I am only replacing vanilla texture assets (if installed in the right order). One in particular was the sign above the diner in Jamaica Village -- I personally use that to tell me whether the mod is installed correctly or not.
But it might well be a mod conflict. Make sure you don't have any conflicting mods overriding the changes I made -- for example, my mod should be installed _after_ Ceasless' Glowing Billboard mod. And certainly, Elianor's Rockin' Red Rocket mod will be modified accordingly if Eli-caffe mod is loaded after it (since she reuses some of her assets in others of her house mods, they can show up in those too. Not to mention I gave her free permission to use my tins and logos in her mods as she sees fit. She's such a gem.)
Otherwise, I have enjoyed finding places where these show up as my Sole Survivor wanders around the Boston area, and I hope you will too. Take a look at the screenshots to get some ideas where these might pop up.
ADDENDUM: If you're talking specifically about the posters, and not the billboards, most of those are replacements for burned, faded, torn and unintelligible posters in the original textures. So to find the new replacements, they're usually located in more run-down, damaged or abandoned locations, such as an old eatery now controlled by Super Mutants, or a worn-out bus stop.
The custom tins are found in several of Elianora's mods, particularly most of her player homes like the Faction Housing series, and in her furnishings add-ons (I'd provide links, but she has been consolidating a number of these various mods, and their names have changed on me.) These Eli tins are not replacements for the vanilla coffee tins, just Elianora's custom ones. (I guess I could offer a replacement option for all of the vanilla tins in a future version, if folks are really interested.)
Also note: For the new Eli-caffe textures to show properly, they should be installed after any of Elianora's mods.
However, the cups, billboards, posters and other signage _are_ replacements for the some of the vanilla ones.
I'm really surprised that Eli did not give you a kudo. I'm going to give you one now on her behalf, 'cause I think it is proper after the work you've done. Enjoy and accept me as a friend.
I won't bother you much, just say HI once in a while and it is a good way for me to watch for any new mods you might upload.
That's hilarious.. It seems like my home, You take inspiration from my favourite coffee brand. And I simply can't throw away the empty cans... So my kitchen is similar to your screenshots.
Thanks to all who have downloaded and given comments so far.
I have a few more signs and billboards worked up, but I now need to figure out where they should go. Obviously for new billboards to go up, others in the game need to come down (be replaced), but the question is, which ones? There are several candidates for replacement. I look at it like the RL equivalent: the ads on billboards have a lifetime, a term, and will expire over time when the contract or lease ends, to be replaced by another advertiser or a new campaign by the current renter.
So, which ones do you think are most eligible for being replaced?
I am zeroing in on the ones for the Blast Radius board game, and the Schoelt Propane company.
And then there's the toothpaste adverts (Dentabrite?) with the bizarre little girl on them. (I find her kinda' creepy; obviously the daughter of some nepotistic company executive. LOL.). But some might feel differently about it than I.
Feel free to offer your own opinions and preferences.

So, please be respectful of others as well as myself.
Thanks and enjoy.

I hope this helps.

(I really need to figure out the new FOMOD layout so this will be simplified for everyone to install. Maybe in the next release.)
Thanks for asking.
Sure, the order in which to install is perfectly clear amigo
I have now fixed the verbiage accordingly.
Thanks.

Ya gotta go on Youtube and watch one of her "how to" videos.
At some points she curses like a biker. She's cute, nerdy, and I just
love her.
By the way, very nice mod. Am downloading now
and will endorse.
The time limit is done.Endorsed.
