As someone who actually served on a M110. This is a decent try. The gun itself is correct, the vehicular body however does look more like a tank body than the proper self propelled system, the spade in the back is also about 1/2 the size it should be. Now don't get me wrong I appreciate the work and I could never do this much myself. Hopefully tho we can get a more accurate version. Good job.

You served on the M110? What are you one hundred years old!? Kidding.

Current Red Leg here. We have one of these old beasts sitting in front of our DIVARTY HQ building. From the stories I have heard about this piece, it seems like it was actually fun and the section had to work together. With the current track howitzer its all too easy thanks to the damn computers.

      Thank you for your service.

Actually served late 80s to early 90s. U.S. still had a few units of M110s at the time. And believe me there were times we wished we had a computer that could be used, what with all the dr8 wires and stuff running around that could break down simply by someone tripping, being able to receive coordinates wirelessly alone would have been worth it. Not sure how it's done today been out awhile, but if the hydraulics on our loader broke down we would have to hand load. And one of those sons of bitches weighed 200 pounds and are not designed to be picked up without assistance. But when everything worked right it was awesome. And remember Field Artillery=King of Battle. BOOM! ARTILLERY! BOOM!

I remember humping (hiking) past a M109 for the first time in training when I was in the Corps and they fired a shell without warning.Scared the crap out of a lot of us not use to howitzers without ear protection being fired ... lol! The fire for effect drill or salvo that followed wasn't as bad but we quickened our step because it was so loud.

Of course, the M110A2 would have been louder with the same effect.

samething happened to me as a young green Trainman walking onto the front platform of a Locomotive approaching a  road crossing and '''whistle''' :( .. I think the Railway Whistle must be JUST as loud

Hi guys !! Thanks for downloading my mod. There will be no more new updates as i have stopped modding for Fallout many years ago and forgot almost everything. I mod for fun and because i believe that games are better when everyone can create or use mods to change the game play of a game to their taste.

Currently i was modding Elden Ring regulation file for my own amusement. There are many good mods for ER. I am waiting for Starfield and hope it has good modding programs, and then maybe i will try something out. :) Take care.

there is no mention of ASSIGNMENTS anywhere on this mod's pages, are these artillery pieces ROBOTIC?
or do we have to Assign a settler to them?

do they fire in response too vanilla artillery smoke grenades and ALONG WITH regular artillery in other settlements?

I'm tracking this mod now, if your still modding you need to do more with this like adding textures, having and options to remove the upper artillery from the body (if that's the choice), having a good animations, and lore-friendly. Plus I'm hoping to get this port to Xbox cause I wanna try this out. Overall a good, and simple piece hopefully your still working on this.

Nice job. Maybe next you could try the M-548 ammo carrier to go along with it. http://www.military-today.com/trucks/m548_images.htm
