I really hope this mod will be updated one day or maybe someone will remake it. I love it so much and enjoy playing such an unusual character, but experiencing so many bugs (bloody neck textures, unability to customize face\skin color, disappearing glowing textures when wearing clothes) is painful lmao And I just figured out that it's not possible to turn char's eyes in Screen Archer Menu which is a really big issue while taking photos, eh
New to modding, if the author allows, I would continue working on this to add female compatibility, I'd also include support for this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/39290 to make them a choice cosmetically. I was also hoping to add a alternate start and alternative dialogue specifically for characters with this as their starting race.
srry I found out modding fallout is beyond my reach, I would love to do so but I just don't possess the skills to do so, if anyone else did this I'd be estatic!
When i loaded up my game after installing this all my characters were turned into ghouls and when i went into the looks menu race menu thing i couldn't see an option to change back
Looks great and no big issues so far for me despite being a pretty old mod aside from the usual skin issues with armor that can pop up with ghoul mods.
For anyone thinking of using it, I highly reccomend grabbing Synth Player voice simple aswell:

Its the closest thing I could find to replicating the effect Jason Bright's voice had on it in NV and I think it works pretty well.
Overall, I like the mod & currently use it. The only thing that I have an issue with is that it lacks the option to passively emit radiation like an actual Glowing One, that would give for an interesting playthrough.
Very easy to do in FO4Edit . Open up the "Glowing One" .esp Open "Race" Select "GhoulRace" Find "Actor Effects" Right-click on the rectangle to the right of "Actor Effects" (in the "Glowing One" column), select "Add". A new entry will appear that says "NULL - Null Reference [00000000]" Click on the drop-down arrow to the right of the null reference entry and select "crGlowingOneCloak "Radiation Cloak" [SPEL:000DB3AD]" Save
This will make you constantly emit a radioactive field. ANY NPC you get within range of will start taking rad damage and will turn hostile, unless they are immune to radiation of course. Note this will make ALL NPCs in the "GhoulRace" have a radioactive aura.
abandoned, and the mod is kind of sloppily done. Better off just ignoring it, sadly :/ They didn't even add in proper bones and such in the face so that you can actually customize the character...
