Surprise everyone! TES-51 Update 1.2 is live! There's the new helmet, with a new headlamp mesh, properly fitted trophies, soul gem tesla arms, new fur collar, new shock effect on the enchanted steel sword and a couple of bug fixes!
If you download it, head over to the Bethesda Comics Basement one more time. A wall at the back has recently collapsed, revealing a forgotten Mk II helmet prototype!
Sorry for the radio silence, hope everyone enjoys it!
If you are playing the latest Next Gen and FO4SE versions be careful with this mod.
The mod works perfectly well still from start to end. However, in my game, it made some NPCs in Nuka World naked, and when I disabled the mod they were back to normal, all dressed again.
It may be just my game that's doing it but be mindful of it should you see it in your game.
after Hotfix Patch today, there is no Armor showing... just the PA Frame, with no Head...:/ if i get out of the PA, the Mounted Parts are just showing in the inventory of the PA...
Am i doing something wrong? or is this a Bug?
EDIT: aktivated the old file, this leaded to replace the "Hotfix" and installed the same hotfix file again...dont know why, but now its working fine again
same here when i install the PA mod and went to the Bethesda comic studio building the first thing i notice is way too many rad roaches then after i was done with them i head to the basement to get the PA and just notice that, there is just a frame not the pieces showing, i never had this issue before ever
did you try to reinstall the "hotfix" file that is deactivated in your mods drawer? that worked for me...the mod was reinstalled, the hotfix turned into the 1.2 mod file and it worked again...
now i´m encountering the problem, that everytime i get ner bethesta comics location, my game crashes...
The hotfix is not listed properly and is being applied as a replacement instead of a patch. Install the main file then install the hotfix and set to load after main when conflict comes up in vortex. If you installed the main file then updated through vortex it will disable the main, it needs an update.
Meanwhile im sitting here trying to figure out how i even *have* the armor, Bethesda Comics, and various other things, without ever having had the armor. Even the power armor has stats, and everything, but apparently ive never even downloaded the damn thing xD Mods be crazy sometimes. Anyway, what Jon said. The hotfix is a patch, and if youre using vortex theres a decent chance its replacing rather than merging.(which is why vortex isnt really great) That said if youre using MO2, dont replace, You should merge instead. Always merge hotfixes, patches, and addons, unless it specifically tells you otherwise.
Could there be an option to make the warpaint less OP? Even with mediocre strength, a melee weapon that does 15 dmg all of a sudden does ~150 (god forbid you have 10 Strength + Big Leagues; even a puny switchblade can do ~400 dmg)
From what I've gathered, with every piece coated in the warpaint, there is an increase to all physical melee dmg by 10x before modifiers!
Anyone know how to keep the hotfix from replacing the main mod? Everytime I install the hotfix, Vortex puts a dropdown menu where the version number sits and acts like they are different versions and have to choose between the main mod and the hotfix
Edit: Found a work around on the second page, wasn't sure the best way to credit it. Installed the main file through Vortex, then installed the hotfix manually and installed from file.
In Bethesda comics, there are only 2 magazines "The Elders Scrolls" (2 and 3). Where can I find the #1 ? This is the Warpaint one, so I can't customize my armor with it.
I ended finding it (the first one is at the counter), had to reload a save and found out that blowing up radroaches with frag grenades made the magazine fly away haha
Edit: Found a fix in the bugs section, reinstall AWKCR and select the Mod Power Armour Engine Glitch Fix, this fixed it for me. I'm assuming you also have 1.2 hotfix as well
