About this mod
The Mysterious Serum is now more powerful, but also has a high chance for debilitating addiction. Use at your own risk.

Though I'll try to keep things as spoiler free as possible.
At some point in the Cabot quest line, you come across some Mysterious Serum which gives you a ton of STR, damage resistance and passive radiation healing. You are also given a choice to have a regular supply of the stuff, or to... well, not.
The thing is, while useful for the carry weight, melee damage, and damage resistances, I don't think it quite lives up to the description of undiluted serum that we get in the story. So I made it more powerful and more useful to different builds. To offset this, it also has a high chance for addiction, and the addiction is quite bad.
Now, I like to keep to my role more than most and often impose restrictions on myself to do so. I would prefer to not use addictol or pay a doctor to remove the Serum addiction, but I understand that not all people would like that, so the normal ways of getting rid of addictions still work.
For those who like hard numbers, the new Mysterious Serum has the following effects, all of which last 1 hour:
+3 each to STR, END and AGL
+50 damage and poison resistance
-10 rads a second
-1 CHA
Enemies using the serum will get the SPECIAL buffs, but not the damage resistances. They still get the Frenzy debuff, same as the vanilla serum.
And the addiction gives:
-2 each to STR, END and AGL
-15 damage, radiation and poison resistance
Issues:
The addiction doesn't show all of the stat changes in the effects page, but checking the stats shows that they are indeed being applied. Not sure how to fix this.
Second, this might not be exactly lore-friendly. This is my interpretation of the Serum effects based on the descriptions we get in game. My interpretations could definitely be wrong.
Compatibility:
This will probably conflict with anything that changes the Mysterious Serum, which probably includes mods that let you craft it. I haven't tested any of these personally.
