Created with Patcher. Feel free to create your own custom version using the rule available in the misc file section.

CTD when using my patches: You are missing a plugin. Go to the "Plugins" tab of your Nexus Mod Manager and check for any errors. Each patch requires the respective original mod to be installed as well as the Darker Nights main file.

XBOX One: I have finally uploaded this mod to Bethesda.net (platform is XBOX One). There is 14 files so far. I will try to address comment there as well and as often as I am able. Don't hesitate to post here or search previous posts since most issues will affect both platforms. Other than that, just to be safe, please see the ToS on Console modding.

Far Harbor & Nuka World DLC patches: Many people have not played through all the DLCs yet so be considerate when posting comments that may contain spoilers. Such is the one kind of post I may delete. When in doubt post a bug report and include word "spoiler" in the title.

Help me help you and post the following information when reporting visual problems:
    1) Installed level of Darkness
    2) Current weather and the time of day
    3) Screenshot if possible (http://imgur.com/)
    4) Which other mods and patches you have installed (load order)

Nights and darkness in general in bethesda games are a joke. If its somewhat tolerable in elder scrolls games, but in Fallout 4 its literally day. You can see everything in night. Unless you know the time of day, you cant tell the difference if its 5-6pm or 2am. Especially since sometimes sky is with clouds and its darker during day.

A must mod for everyone. Works great on NG, for one exception.

I suggest for everyone to put this mod on darkest setting, but for me, even that isnt enough. Darkest setting gives you feeling that its night and you clearly can see the difference. But sometimes nights are not just dark, sometimes they are pitch black, try walking in the country or in the forest during night, you cant see 2 steps ahead of you. So i wish there was even darker settings, like Skyrim Darker Nights has.

Is it safe to uninstall and re-install this in the middle of a modded playthrough if I want to try the various settings?

you're gonna have to fix it yourself for the time being. I'm using Nuclear Weather too. The biggest thing for NW is that TS changed from esp to esm. DN still looks for the ESP...ugh.

Mod needs to be updated, it's been too long since the last version. No issues on my end, except sometimes it seems like nights look less dark than usual once it stops raining.
