    Release 15.10.2022, Version 0.3.1:

    - added support for Far Harbor and Nuka World(adapting sunset/dawn time)

New version has been uploaded, and a major improvement I might add, see changelog:
    Release 11.5.2022, Version 0.3:
    - finally fixed the issue of trees appearing to have all cut off leaves

There still might be minor quirks some trees showing cut off tree leaves, or weird bark texture. I'm fighting hard to get this solved but I'm afraid I need to single handily have to replace/remove the culprits from world cells. Those pre combined meshes really give me headaches. And no it does not "just work" Todd! In fact it majorly breaks things very much often. If you can't build a game for a 2016 Standard High End Computer, then don't build one with broken content for compensation. The game would have been great on it's own without all to fancy graphics.

    Next on the list:

    - adding proper LOD
    - adding DLC support once I get to play them
    - fix minor cut off leaves issues
    - fix weird bark texture

To my mind, the most balanced of the vegetation mods out there. Not too much, like Forest, not too little, like vanilla. Thanks.

If there was anything I'd adjust, it'd be two things:

    a) this seems to hit some snag with enb's causing some parts of the vegetation to be black-like
    b) I'd adjust the hue of the green used for vegetation - it feels a tad too vibrant right now, could be dialled down on luminocity and saturation, reducing green and increasing red by a slight notch across the RGB spectrum.

Hey, I'm just poking around trying to find answers without going through all my mods and turning em off one by one - does this mod change the month you leave the vault? Specifically changing the date from Oct 23 to June 1st?
Edit, looks like it's not this one, if anyone else is looking too lol
jk it absolutely is this one
    damn
could you by chance upload a non-date-changing version? I just want my diamond city holiday decorations to go up on the right days without losing my trees TT__TT

I think that's Luxor's Summer mod that does that, IIRC

Didn't change the date of the game but either it resets to default the time of rising/setting sun or disable darker night or both.  Pity because it looks very nice.

At this point in 2024 I just recommend using xEdit to modifiy mods to your hearts content. It's as simple as changing or removing two variables. You'll figure which one.

I looked over the screen shots and this may be the dead plant replacer I use. I think the developers did not truly think the effects over. They should have studied Hiroshima, Nagasaki and yes Pripryat and Fukashima for post nuclear incident recovery. It is now 70+ years after those fateful days in August of 1945 when Hiroshima and Nagasaki became the only cities on Earth to experience Nuclear War, but both cities are thriving today and their environments only register normal background radiation today. However despite the intense residual radiation at Pripryat and Fukashima both locations are experiencing a regreening. Though I think the plantlife there is adapting to the radiation and for much of the animal life including humans it is not advisable to linger for too long more so for Fukashima as it is more recent than Pripryat, but even now nearly forty years later Pripryat resembles a forest more than a ghost town. Nature is reclaiming it. I suspect 210 years or so after the Sino-American War devolved into a Nuclear Exchange, depending on the number of weapons used and their respective yields much of the areas outside the more heavily bombed areas would be recovering and likely resemble the landscape in your screen shots.

Fallout franchise wasnt made with realism in mind but rather what people in the '50 were thinking the world would look like after nuclear apocalypse.

And even if you added together all the events DeeElleHemm lists, they are miniscule (virtually into insignificance) in comparison to a truly apocalyptic nuclear WW3. Just one - one - high yield nuke of the Cold War would be over 1,500 times worse than Hiroshima, and with no one around to spend decades containing and cleaning up the mess. And worse than that, multiply such damage by thousands more times and covering a lot of the globe, completely stripping the ozone and setting up a nuclear winter probably lasting many decades. And add to that (unlike our world) Fallout's universe makes extensive use of nuclear power everywhere and thus such local waste will also be spilling out for a long time. Much of the landscape would be untenable for centuries, some for millennia. Sure, some bits of life might survive in random little pockets but within 210 years you wouldn't see any meaningful ecological succession nor regen probably beyond mutated slime and lichen.

Sadly, the only way even the overly optimistic vanilla look & life of Fallout returns is if one imagines many of the incoming ballistic nukes are intercepted and the globe somehow avoids an extensive nuclear winter. But greener? Well, only if you imagine just a few tactical nukes hitting their targets, which you can do as it's a sci-fi fantasy - just don't fool yourselves you've somehow made post-apocalyptia look more "realistic".

Having an issue where the vines ingame all have this wierd black shadow attached to them, disabling this mod fixes it, but not sure what the cause is
As far as foliage goes im using this mod and Boston Natural Surroundings

Adds a nice palette of colors to spice the disgusting brown landscape of the Commonwealth without turning it into something completely different. This is probably my favorite grass/flora mod for FO4.
