This episode ends at the crash site leading to the Poseidon reservoir? Just want to make sure my game is glitched out because of other mods or something. I figured it would be short but didn't expect to end at that location. Interesting so far i was hoping to see the pre war tech showcase area mentioned in the last terminal but still can't complain
I really enjoyed this. I have no familiarity with Chicago, but I do like Bioshock, and this certainly reminded me of Infinite at times. The new enemies are fantastic and the level design throughout was immersive eye candy. I wanted more to explore, and less linearity, but I am glad I gave this a try. Very surreal and the world is worthy of a full DLC/game.
I encountered a couple bugs, such as a wall that you can clip right through and fall out of the level. The entrance door in the Laundromat didn't appear for me, I had to tcl through the boarded up vanilla door to see the one you added, though I suspect this a mod conflict as I've seen videos where the door works perfectly for others. The exit door was similarly finicky, but overall the experience was smooth. Great job.
Its a shame you didn't enjoy making it, but I can't say I blame you. Bethesda is a mess. Thank you for at least sharing what you made, if nothing else, its a lovely portfolio piece.
I'm not sure the mod author is still around but I just finished this and I had to come here and say something.
Wow.
I was gripped the moment I saw the bridge and realized why it looked the way it did. As a Chicagoan myself I was completely taken aback when I realized that the fate that befell the rest of the wastes had not occurred here; what happened here was far, far worse. Whereas the Mojave had become a desert, Capital Wasteland a warzone and Commonwealth a ruin you did something completely different and told a story in an engaging way and using a setting we haven't seen before. The scenery was gorgeous and I was at the edge of my seat the entire time, hoping that there was more after the next door.
This was such a joy to play through and a super fun ride. Thank you.
I played this when it was it was uploaded. I was so f*#@ing confused. When I wanted to go back to the page, but the page was hidden, so I played this strange floating city with weird enemies with no information.
It was a great story! Kept waiting for Rod Serling to step out and give his ending quote. Just one problem, looted the medic goggles?. and ended up with a staggering amount in my inventory that could not be dropped and only seen if I was trying to transfer to container or work on in Armor craft. But all in all, LOVED IT!
Believe it or not, I only used vanilla assets for this (not much of a modeler). But I did a bit of Frankenstein-work to mash-up some different architecture and re-purpose the modular bits to create different environments.
I love this so much. It has a very Bioshock: Infinite meets FNV: Dead Money feel to it. Quite honestly, I don't think I'd mind if the entirety of this DLC/mod was in black and white. I really, really enjoyed that train sequence. Def a WIP, but I can't wait to see where you go with this.

You put a lot of work into it and I like the tie-ins from Fallout lore.
so do you have it?
