A new game version has recently dropped for Fallout 4. Once F4SE is updated I will be kicking off an automatic build to target the new game version.

The latest builds for all my F4SE plugins can be accessed here:
    https://ci.appveyor.com/project/reg2k/fo4-mod-manifest/branch/master/artifacts

Please note that the version number is not automatically incremented for these builds. Check the header message on the page to identify the game version that the files are built for.

As I have several F4SE mods it may take some time before I manage to upload the files to the Nexus (this is the bit that I can't automate!) Until then, new versions may already have been built via the automated build service, so do check there if I haven't gotten around to uploading them to the Nexus yet.

Wondering if someone can help me:

    F4SE is installed and updated:
Most Recent version of Rename is installed and enabled

When I try to rename something it tells me "Script command setname not found"

So, what do I do or what did I do wrong?

For the people on the NG update this mod won't work try using this:
    https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/85783
its the workaround for the meantime.

its compatible with FallUi Workbench. Just make sure to load Fallui Workbench after the Rename Anything NG mod.
if ever the mod still loaded on top of FallUi Workbench (ie: you can't see the icons before item names) check if load order is right then try disabling it and re-enabling it again.

sempre que algum mod tem última atualização antes de F4SE para fallout 4 vX.XX.XXX, provavelmente não funciona. se você usa F4SE para Fallout 4 NG (v1.10.984) precisará do mod em questão atualizado para F4SE NG.

I see some people saying they can't rename settlers, but I can't rename anything at all even stuff in my inventory like Power Armor, the option is completely grayed out. Any help? Yes I'm on the most recent update of FO4

I don't believe this mod was updated to work with NG Fallout 4. I could be wrong. Are you running NG or did you downgrade?

Love this mod. Makes me really get attached to my dumbass settlers!!
Btw, some of the settlers are constantly tend to revert back to "settler".
Especially the provisioners. If this is somewhat hardcoded vanilla thing, that can be skipped over but not only provisioner. Certain ones are constantly like this. And even provisioners sometimes keeps the edit awhile, but not constant. A few game days later, they went back.
Aligning load order doesn't work. Is this some kind of mass dissociative identity disorder??

Any fellow user could provide some info??

FallUI - Workbench needs to load after this mod.

To quote the description of that mod :
Works smoothly together with Rename Anything, allowing you to rename any item with item icon tag picker. (Install before FallUI Workbench)
