Just noticed 5Like replying to someone on his main mod on 9th Sept 2022 so hes still around. :)
Was wondering if he could revist this mod. I still have the issue of caravaneers and their brahmin going to their original locations instead of the ones I have added with this mod - this only happens in settlements where there was already a caravan destination marker - Carla in Sanctuary, Doc Wethers at The Slog, Cricket in Warwick for example, the mod works perfectly in places like Starlight where there was no prexisting marker. Mod is always at the bottom of my load order below anything which couuld interfere and I persevere anyway but its a bit of a nuisance. Would be wonderful if it could be fixed :)
So, it's really fine to uninstall and replace the esp with the one for Thematic And Practical and my already built caravan posts will stay, correct? Anybody ever have issues with upgrading to the other full mod?
Seeing a lot of , why don't this work comments , most likely bad installs , Ok I run Thematic and Practical and it works great for me , been using it for about a month now , this ties in with that right ? same style from the screen shots , so I'll try it , I like my wasteland to look apocalytic but that's just me , thanks for both of these must haves in any play through , awesome work .
For some reason, this mod has Lucas' counter sitting in a newly created vanilla Structures/Misc menu. Been going over the bugs in your Thematic mod and it's the same error that one also has. Since I don't see any other complaints about this and I have a truckload of mods, maybe it only happens in combination with other unspecified mods...
Doc also refuses to use the sole counter the mod adds to the vanilla shop list. I haven't played around yet with the holotape that came with the mod, though. Maybe there's some settings I need to go through first.
I have thematic and practical and I also get the added misc menu, but with Lucas' workbench. I didn't know what mod had put it there so I've just been ignoring it as everything else seems to be functional. I don't think there are any further settings for the caravans unless this one has made changes that weren't added to Thematic and Practical. Did any of them work for you? I couldn't get Carla to go to the spot I made for her in Sanctuary but her brahmin did. I don't know if it was because there is something different about her script in sanctuary or because I had a different mod interfering with it.
Unisntalled your mod and my "Stores" menu has vanished. And yes, I did use the holotape first to "manually" uninstall. Then I quit the game, uninstalled the mod and re-booted the game and the menu is gone...
The reason why I wanted to uninstall this mod is because I came across two settlements where I couldn't build any Food & Drinks shops. Since this mod is the only one I've added recently that does something to the vendors mechanics, I wanted to check if I was right. And I was. Uninstalling your mod brought back my food and drinks stalls, after having restored my menus, that is...
Hi, My mods don't touch anything remotly vanilla exept for "CaravanPCSettlementVisit" in the storymanager. The holotape only remove added forms by my mod.
works perfectly, lucas was sitting at his chair I placed and then got up and found his counter marker and his guards and brahmin used there markers too
I've played around a bit with this mod. It works for the most part and I love the idea and will keep using it but it's fairly buggy. The green circles randomly stay visible. I build one trading post and it's fine. I exit the menu and later build another one and the new one will have green circles. I then scrap it and try again. Now the second one has invisible markers but now the first one suddenly has the green circle show. What the hell?
Also, I'm not sure if this is a location specific problem but I cannot select anything from this mod in workshop mode too far away from the Taffington house. I have to go to the house, select the caps stash, for example, and then walk to the side of the road to place it on a trader stand. Very odd behavior.
None of my traders find their shop markers. Might be a vanilla issue but at least my settlers eventually manage to walk around the counter. Not the caravan people. Also, I wish only the caravan NPCs would use the markers. But my settlers and even the kid settlers use them. They are attracted to these markers like moths to light it seems. So I wonder if I should just replace the circle markers with invisible rugs since they are not caravan specific anyway. This way I could at least fix that one problem. Seems all you need to attract the traders is the caps stash anyway.
Okay i may be dumb as f*#@ but . . . i had try to put the caps " things " for Cricket in Sanctuary, she's not coming here at all, sleeping dont do anything to fix that, any advice ?
Edit : Btw i've got all requirement for the vanilla caravan post ^^
