Wired connections are not importing during the "powering up" phase, despite the fact that the settlement is showing green afterwards. Also incorrect meshes appearing, such as invisible ramps in the middle of the open. I wasn't having these issues before the recent TS update, so the problem is probably with that.
Still, it seems that wired connections not importing is a common problem with every settlement so far.
Love the build but for some reason, some pieces around the "armory" building and the side stair are visibly missing. I downloaded your savefile to compare and indeed, the area around that wooden staircase is missing fence pieces and the deck that the staircase stands on. I've nuked and imported the build through Transfer Settlements about three times now. At first I thought that the issue was due to the building limit, but after downloading a mod to increase the building cap, the issue still persists.
Love your work man, these are the best blueprint in this website!
This became my first download that I implemented in my game, and for a full month and a half its been perfectly smooth. It's only up until recently my game force quits whenever I try to make changes around the base. gave turn itself off without warning 50/50 chance when I move an object and 100% time when I turn any switches or move anything power related. If you consider this being a mod making issues with the game: I don't have any mods related to settlement building, textures or other kind, and this issue is only appearing on This map specifically( I'm downloading and endorsing every of you maps 100%). I'll check if it's a problem with a build limit and maybe add the limit Extending mod, other then that I'm starting to avoid that place from this point on. Game can't even let me nuke the place :b
Edit: Build limit extender didn't do much, and i'll have to avoid the place for now, since the crash happens even from a switch activation, settlers activating the sirens will turn off my game.
I followed your read me and extracted your file to: tranfersettlements/blueprints/1 and when I try to export in game it's not listed; just has my export file listed with three items. Now, I don't have all of the DLC'S so do you think that would stop your file from being detected? Update: Got it to work finally. Discovered you have to create a new numbered folder in your "blueprints" folder and extract this file into that for your game to be able to read it. Instructions were confusing as they said to extract into folder 1...the same folder your import file is in; they did not say to create a new folder to extract into. Also, you do not need the DLC's for the file to work, but you will have to do some repair work yourself as items will be missing and stuff will be floating in the air. Warning, if you choose to nuke your settlement before import run away as you will die.
Thx for feedback, instructions will be updated today. But the part with the nuking is false. Nukes don´t damage the player or settlers, but can turn npcs into attack mode.
lol, appropriate. My character died during the nuke phase. Bombs dropped and she flew vertically. I haven't been able to recreate it so it was a glitch.
Hello. Still new to TS, and am able to get the blueprint stabilized, but game is crashing the moment it proceeds to power up. I have my TS set to Stable, and nuke everything. I also leave it in workshop mode while importing. Any ideas?
I'm having the exact same problem as OzarkHunter, even though I have followed your installation guide. Stable preset includes: on: Shut down generators while nuking on: Shut down generators during power-up phase off: Electricity effects during power-up off: Temporary storm to jump-start electricity
Game crashes every time power-up phase starts. Does anyone have any other ideas for what might be wrong? Obviously others have been able to make this work.
For the moment I would recommend importing without the power-up. It should take 30-60 minutes to do the wiring (max) Maybe it´s because my bp is outdated - idk. I will update my files in the winter time. Other than:
Try to use my savegame and export & import it yourselfor ask the comments section in the Transfer Settlements mod for help / they are very helpful
This is the third of your blueprints that I've imported into my game and this is the first one I've had issues with. First, none of the wiring's been done. Next the door to the General's Suite won't open and the 2 original settlers are glowing red. And yes I followed procedure: Save/Load, fast travel to remote location (Sanctuary), stay away for a couple of days. Should I just nuke and try again?
Hey, There have been others to report the settlers bug for Tenpines & County County Crossing. Same with the electricity. I don´t know how long an import takes you, but I would give it another try.
I've got good news and bad news. First the good: the settlers are no longer red. Bad news: It's still not wired. That is, at least some of it's not wired. The water generator seems to be working. However, the siren and the powered turrets aren't. Also, I noted that the door that I still can't enter is the Armory. Is there a separate way to get into the General Suite that I'm just not seeing?
What building is supposed to be in the middle of the settlement with the radio beacon (I'm assuming) on top of it? There are also four electrical connectors there. The reason I asked is because there's nothing there in my game and I wanted to build whatever it is I'm missing. Thanks.
That didn't answer my question. Anyway, I removed the recruitment beacon because it looked funny floating in space and moved the workshop back to there. I may put something else there, like a shop, in the future.
Great layout, though, I really enjoy it. One thing I was never thrilled about with this game was settlement building and you've basically done that for me. Kudos to you.
misunderstood...there used to be the original hut with the 2 settlers. (radio beacon on top).
It can happen that some items don´t get imported. Simply give it another shot. I know it sounds stupid, but TS doesn´t work 100%. sometimes imports fail or lack some items.
Hey, no problem. I figured as much. I use scrap everything and had removed that original hut and moved the workbench somewhere else. I just put down a concrete foundation and moved the workbench back. I may rebuild the shack, I just haven't decided yet. Everything else looks great.

Any suggestions for settings that need to be used to get beyond this? Or any other suggestions?

I ran the blueprint again and just had it import and repair wires and it fixed it.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE GOOD PICTURES ESPECIALLY THE OVERHEAD VIEW.
I will be keeping an eye on this for my next game (man....I play this game too much).
thanks again for sharing.

Are you sure that it had not been an object popping from the ground - while import

My personal advice:
"Shut down generator during import" - make sure this option is on
https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/articles/550/?
Stable preset includes:
on: Shut down generators while nuking
on: Shut down generators during power-up phase
off: Electricity effects during power-up
off: Temporary storm to jump-start electricity

off: Restore snapped power connections

-select
-walk in
Whenever you have a locked, powered door in front of you: go into workshop mode, select the door, walk through
Btw: if you need help wiring I can make screenshots
