Project LUNAR base not working correctly - Zero Happiness
I walked to the place where you have a potential settlement. Looked at my map. It told me I had a settlement, 0 inhabitants. Weird. I couldn't
see a workbench, but the hotkey worked; started at zero happiness though
which is not a good sign.
I read that I shouldn't be able to use the workbench as I haven't
finished the quest, but perhaps the Sim settlements 1 mod or one of the
associated mods had activated it in a bad state.
I can see, but not build a robot workbench, for example.
Having finished the quest, the item that substitutes for the workbench
(settlement control centre) was there, but the settlement still seems to
be in a bad state. I'll try reloading.
I'm worried that there is no way to get the courser chip at the end
without triggering the workshop into a bad state by going into that
area. I hope that it was just bad luck that one time.
Note: Normally, with the hotkey, I'll see a message like "you haven't
met the requirements" for that situation. For example, Boston Airport.
Ok, I tried it again, same problem. This time I noticed that the courser
is not an enemy for some reason, and killing them was classed as
killing an innocent, but they start shooting at you if you shoot at the
synths, and when i killed the synths before spawning the courser, there
seemed to be no way to advance the quest without killing him, leaving
you stuck on the Moon.
Also, there are two Earths in the sky at the moment.
Addendum - noticed the controller for settlements for Sim Settlements
says I'm not inside a settlement, and although the base is listed, and i
can send robots to it from other settlements, they don't seem to ever
arrive. If I build a robot there, I can't assign it to anything.
SS seems to work fine with every other settlement mod, even ones for
weird places, so i presume this is related to the zero happiness bug. I
don't know the console command to check if the workbench is acting
correctly but I am willing to bet that it isn't.
Anyway, because killing an innocent has a huge negative effect on my
companions, I decided to quit that game without saving, and might give
up on an inhabited Moonbase; or only have one for myself.
