No, sadly, we never really got around to doing that for them. Sorry. I’d almost assuredly approve any requests from people that wanted to make clothing/armor patches for them though.
There's these cat skins I have downloaded from another mod and I am very curious if they will actually work on these cats? I'm going to test/try this out to see what happens. And while at it, I'll be taking a look into possibly creating clothing/armor/saddle/bag patches etc. Maybe even give them glowing eyes. And even on the side, make a stable or ranch area for the cats in the Sanctuary settlement. Before I saw the cats and dogs, I was having plans on the whole deathclaw mount idea and stables/ranch and having having tamed beasts be able to be a rideable/mount which is dependable on size.
You (VertexZergling, specifically) have my permission to master to this mod to create patches, expand it, or improve upon it (let’s be honest, it’s old and probably not working as well as it could anymore from my lack of upkeep…hey, just like me! ) as you like. Love to see some stuff for it, for sure.
What I learned about all the vehicles is - that as long as it is something which tries to "roll" by the surface - it's doomed to have glitches. Even if it's just landing on the ground and normally flies (vertibirds etc) - it's still a problem when it lands and clips through buildings or lands with only 1% of the whole thing touching the ground.
However mount-type "vehicles" work really smoothly. I guess it's because the corresponding mechanics exist in-game for a regular type of actors used for mounts. Really good job, thank you. Just the thing I was trying to find for my character to make it aligned with the character lore :p

Hey, thanks.
I hope you enjoy it, I'm really glad someone found a use for these cute little ones. Someday soon, I really want to do a patch for them to slow them down just a tad so they don't go too fast for the game's cell loading to keep up and also a bit of a less tight turning radius (though not by much, I definitely prefer a tighter turn on the smaller animals for good maneuverability).
They should be in their own category in the main workshop menu, normally far to the right end. If you don't see them (icon is a keychain with a Giddy head), try traveling to the center of another settlement (doesn't have to be a vanilla settlement, but does have to be fully functional settlement) to kickstart the menu install script.
Please come back and let us know if they still don't appear, 'cause that would be a bad bug. =(
We do plan on several other critters. Keep watching for updates/new files. For now you can ride a giddy from here: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24794/?
Have you considered a similar mod with giant mole rats? I could see Al Chestbreach featuring a rideable giant molerat mod in one of his Youtube video reviews. This rideable animal concept is well known in Skyrim, but I doubt anyone has ever made a rideable mole rat. That would probably hold true for the yao guai and deathclaw as well.

Cats now have their own mod.

I know this wasn't supposed to be a serious mod but can we have a raideable radstag version of this?
I'm roleplaying as Geralt and a radstag is the closest thing we can get to a horse in the fallout universe

Great idea!
2 paws up for this mod anyway
So, can they go in water? because ya know, that'd be totally UN-immersive =P
(btw is that your sanctuary? How..? it looks great! )
Yes all of the rideables we are making can "swim" with the player on it's back. Just easier that way.
(that is actually greekrages sanctuary mod)
