Uploaded a new version with some fixes and a cleaner bank. (1.1 ) Luckily i got home a half a day early and had a couple of hours to work on this mod. Im going to make the bank usable with a workbench next update so you can use it for a player home or what ever you want..
I just noticed something. The music player in the cafe near the workbench was playing music before it was powered. I tried scrapping it but the music kept playing. I reloaded an earlier save but it did the same thing. I powered the area, then changed the tape on it, and then scrapped it, but it was still playing.
For those looking for the workbench, the road to the water should be to the right, the slocum joe to the front right, the emergency front left, and it will be straight ahead against the wall. I see a garbage bin in front of it obscuring it a bit.
There is a "spawn workshop npc" button on the side of emergency next to slocum joe.
Power generator and a greenhouse are behind as you are facing the workbench, on top of a building.
I don't know if the old building which is sloped can be levelled out with "place everywhere"? Maybe just ignore it? There's quite a lot of other areas that the settlers can do things in.
I used to get weird crashes with other mods at this location. I don't know if that was interference with vault 88 or something. Did anyone else get CTDs if they use this mod? I want to try it but I have a lot of bad memories. :(
Hope all is well on your side. Love your mods - have several of them. This one is the only one ever had any issue with. Its really weird but both the old university point and your version are both there and meshing over the top of each other.
I did 'Randolph Safehouse 1' there before I installed this as for some reason thought likely like the Jamaica Plains settlement were you needed to clear it out first. Have you ever experienced that issue or besides going through mod order/conflicts any thoughts on what could fix it?
Cheers for the reply. I read somewhere Spring Cleaning Mod can cause issues, will try removing and seeing if that helps. Would like to try to get it working. I'll report back if I figure it out.
I tried things out and saw a similar problem. I have installed scrap everything with the ini changes (which i am told break other things) and now the settlement looks like in the screen shots).
I asked around and people said something about previs but it went over my head like an albatross. :D
no cause after that my life went down the toilette.... Still struggling to make ends meet .....havent had a steady job since 2015....and in 2017 i managed to be without power at home..for over a year...Sold anything of value for quick cash and even sold my PC back then.... My wife got a low paying job about 2 years ago and at least we have power and food on the table but extra spending is taboo.... Even got a mid ranged pc setup with the help of donations....thats why im back into the game and looking to gather courage to get back into modding (forgotten a lot of stuff and it isnt that easy to start from scratch so to speak )....
Thanks for this. Everything's perfect except for one thing; The sound doesn't dampen/muffle rainstorms from True Storms inside any of the buildings.
I get that Bethesda dropped the ball with the wetness on the inside of exterior houses and provided basic occluding, but mist and sound passes through everything- living space or not- within the overhaul's settlement.
I hope it's something you can look into in the future because I've been searching for days, even tried my hand at Creation Kit, to get my modest little SnappyBuilds Prefab House into a 'forever settlement' in the middle of the Commonwealth... lol.
FPS arent due to size but more because of the number of objects loaded...... College square had a small issue even before actually doing the overhaul ....something like downtown...

Is the cafe haunted?
