Not if you are narrow-minded. My idea is that a great man created the armor using salvaged tech, much like the Mechanist did. However, he did not create it for himself. Instead he hid it away in a lonely location in hopes that one day that hero would find it. This is the mantle of the righteous... or perhaps the wicked.
Would I use this in my serious hardcore playthrough? No.
deactivate the mod when you get to the second floor of the chapel and the box will be there. reactivate the mod after you've removed and upgraded the armor as it wont be upgradable with the textures and the box will disappear. Just figured this out myself.
i love this armor and your textures for it look awesome (my ancient grey knight armor in my warhammer 40k playthrough). I see your aware of the upgrading or repairing issue. I've also noticed that if your mod is active before you acquire the armor, the box it's suppose to be in will not spawn. I need to first find and get the armor out of the box, do whatever upgrading that can be done, and THEN i can activate your mod. At this time the box that contained the power armor will disappear again. Hope this helps
This is a texture replacer only with an optional .esp -file replacement also. Both textures can not be used at the same time unless someone makes that for the game.
There's instructions here on the nexus how to do that but... Me, I'm just starting to look into learning those crazy record editors after all these yrs of playing. Too many good ideas around here on small but really good changes on properties/statistics in weapons, armor the lot of it! Time to start editing myself, if I can ever get to it!
