Fully compatible with all DLC's and Next-Gen Update

Use my All im One with Complex Parallax enhancement:
Vivid Fallout - Landscapes - Complex Parallax Occlusion
Vivid Fallout - Rocks - Complex Parallax Occlusion

    P.S.
If you don't like the added puddles just install my optional 'puddle remover' and they are gone.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the mod.

I'm going to try out the 4K version. You mentioned it impacts performance heavily. Do you have an idea what is required to run it smoothly? Is it a VRAM issue?

Yes it's mostly about VRAM. For newer rigs 4k shouldn't be a problem,  as always it depends on what else you are running (other mods, HD DLC etc).

Seems like the load times are slow with the mod? This is with the best choice version.

still can't get this working. I've copied the contents of the mods data folders into the fallout 4 data folder and have no idea how to activate the mod?

You can activate it ingame after you started Fallout 4. Just select 'Mods' in the game menu and tick Vivid Landscapes

I can see the mod in the mods list in game but there is no option to activate it. just an option to press B to go back to the previous menu. same with keyboard and mouse controls.
It is not listed in the mod menu on the title screen at all either.

You can force it to load by adding the BA2 to your Fallout4.ini (located in C:\Users\*Username*\Documents\My Games\Fallout4).
      under:
      [Archive]
      sResourceIndexFileList=
      add as last line:
VividFallout AiO *Whatever you chose* Textures.ba2.

    Hi, mod looks amazing!

But I get these odd clipping as per the image here: https://ibb.co/8B0b4qS

I'm using 4K with the 4K LOD, no other texture mods.

Any suggestions what it may be?

This are badly placed road meshes in Sanctuary, it's a Vanilla bug.
You might want to try my'puddle remover' here in optional section if you don't like the puddles at all.

Love the mod, the dirt in this game desperately needs an upgrade! But there are some patches that I think are supposed to be puddles that look terrible, and I can't figure out what to do about them. I downloaded the No More Fake Puddles mod, but seems it only affects puddles on roads. Anyway, any idea what these patches are? I need to do something about them, because they litter the landscape.

Example of what I'm talking about here.

The much talked about puddles once more. lol
You just have to love or to hate them, there is nothing in between;)
If you want to get rid of them just install the 'puddle remover' in optional section here on this page.

It's compatible with FAR, though I suggest to use VividFallout-LOD and Distant Detail
There are also performance versions if needed.

Don't use the official hd pack it will destroy performance for not a single visual difference

    Hi,

First of all, i'd like to say that this is an awesome mod!

I installed it some time ago but I stopped playing Fallout 4. Now i'm returning and i see that I have the All in One - Best Choice 1.3 version, which is archived.

I'd like to update it, but after reading the description and files section i have 2 questions:

    • I haven't updated the game to prevent breaking my modded saves, so I have the latest version prior to the next gen update.
Is the latest vivid fallout version compatible with my game version?
    • Is it safe to update directly from the mod launcher or do i need to do something special?

Thank you very much in advance and keep up the great work!

      1. yes it is, 'textures only' mods rarely cause icompatibilities.
      2. You can use the launcher

      Have fun!

i don't know if i'm the only one, but i love the vanilla sand texture, the simple bland texture on nordhagen and spectacle island is just so nice
