An FYI for people installing mid game (in the glorious year 2024 or later), as noted elsewhere, apparently Bethesda in all their wisdom pre-roll some quest locations before the
quests are even assigned, so the first radiant you get mid game may
still be stupidly placed in Far Harbor etc even with this mod if you haven't installed it prior to playing..
So here's something useful up front to put into console before the pre-rolls clear
and the mod functions normally the rest of the playthrough:
For Example:
SetStage <QuestID> <Stage#>
For Quartermastery:
SetStage 000C30DC 40
For Cleansing the Commonwealth:
SetStage 00064EC7 40
These will set the quests to "cleared"/"recovered" and you can report to Haylen/Rhys right away and get on with the game.
Bless the mod makers <3
Special shout-out to the dipsticks at Bethesda that still haven't fixed this garbage.-
thx 👍

You're awesome thanks!

The reason they pre-roll them is because it might take a few moments to find a suitable location. If they rolled it mid-dialog with the quest giver, it would sometimes, if not all the time, make the dialog pause awkwardly.
I don't know for sure but I think some sort of quest processing like that is the reason for Preston's awkward pause in his dialog at Sanctuary, if you want an example of what the devs were avoiding by doing this.

Thank goodness this mod still works with the NG update. The most recent one created by exoclyps requires UFO4P and, imo, no one in their right mind should continue using that patch.

Can confirm this mod is working on next gen updates while on PC. Using around 70+ mods on a fresh save - got assigned 3 different radiants by the brotherhood, which always seemed to assign me at LEAST 1 location in FH every playthrough previously, but none this time. Seems to be fully functioning. Thank you!

Genial, este mod me solucionó el tener que ir a Far Harbor mucho antes de activar ese dlc. gracias.

This mod is great. No more running to Nuka World or Far Harbor for radiant quests from the Commonwealth. I hadn't started the DLCs and was waiting to do them later.
-
Should I use this if I don't use UFO4P?
-
I'd expect UFO4P is only mentioned in description to inform folks to put this mod after it so it takes priority, but due to minor conflicts there is in fact a bespoke replacer esp version for folks using UFO4P. So I'd imagine the version here is just fine without UFO4P.

MARS? Try Skaro: this glory is more needed than ever with Fallout Who Regenerated!

Where should I put this mod in my load order on Xbox? I have it installed, but I'm still getting radiant quests that send me to Far Harbor.
Also, would a mod that reduces the frequency of Minutemen radiant quests conflict with this mod...?-
You see, radiant quests choose their targets *before* the quest is taken, not *when they're taken*. This is probably meant to prevent players from save-scumming quest locations. That means that even when you've installed this mod, the game has already loaded all its radiant targets so the next or second-next will likely still send you to nuka world/far harbor. It should be noted that this mod cannot change currently selected quest targets, either ones in queue or currently active. It can only prevent future cues from selecting non-commonwealth locations as targets.

Ghoul problems? In the Slog? More likely than you think.

Is there a way to make a version that reenables the Far harbor and Nuka world radiant quests AFTER you have been to the dlc locations?
