For anyone who wants to wear this coat with armor -open CK -go to File - data, now load the 'Fallout 4' masterfile and 'ManCoat' ,with ManCoat selected, click the 'Set as active file' button -wait till its all fully loaded (ignore all the errors, its normal I guess ) -in the object window, go to Items-Armor , now you will see a list of a bunch of armors, the 2 at the top should have a very small 'x' next to its 0 count, this means its a modded in file. If you do not see them press on Editor ID to change the way its shuffeling. The files you're looking for are called TrenchCOatBoots and TrenchCOat , double click one of them. -You're now in the Armor window and the thing right in your face with the blue bars is exactly what you need, (underneath Race in a box called Biped Object) change it so the only blue bar left is 33-BODY -if necessary repeat for the other coat -press OK and save -congratulations, now you can wear armor over the coat!
Thank you for this! I have followed exactly what you have said but I am stuck on the final step- how do I save it once I have removed the other armor slots and left slot 33 alone?

Don't know if this was settled or fix somehow, but I REALLY want to wear it.
