Caladon's Boston Sky Home


Do you like feeling as if you are Above it All?

Would you like to be able to see for miles and miles from the comfort of your own home?

If you answered Yes to 1 or more of these questions, then this mod is for you!

This mod adds a Conquest Compatible Platform above the Fens in Boston. Waaaay Above!

There are Entrance Hatches in Sanctuary Hills behind the Workshop House, In Starlight Drive-in in back of the Projector Building, and in the Back Bay Alley directly below the Platform. ( See Pictures for hatch locations )

This mod was created in the Creation Kit with all Vanilla Assets and does not replace any Original game Assets so should be compatible with anything.

Is this mod a cheat?
In a way Yes as it does allow Fast Travel to locations you may not yet have visited.

Is this mod Lore Friendly?
No, as the Anti-Gravity needed to support the platform has not yet been invented.

Is this mod Immersive?
Depends on your point of view, I find it very immersive to gaze at all the beautiful vistas from on high. If you don't then maybe this mod isn't for you.

UPDATE: Added an Optional ESL Replacement for the ESP in this mod in the download section. If you have the ESL compatible version of NMM 0.63.17 then you can use the Download with Manager Button to install the ESL and Activate it and disable the ESP in the Load Order. If you do NOT have version 0.63.17 then download manually, copy CaladonsBostonSkyHome.esl to your Fallout 4\Data folder and edit your Users\Owner\Appdata\Local\Fallout 4\Plugins.txt and change the *CaladonsBostonSkyHome.esp to *CaladonsBostonSkyHome.esl

Known Issues:
Sometimes when using the Hatch in Sanctuary Hills or Starlight Drive-In the Teleport will drop you at ground level below the platform in the Back Bay Alley, but there is a hatch just a couple of feet away that will Teleport you to the platform.

Installation:
Just install with the Mod Manager of your choice ( I recommend NMM ). Once installed travel to either Sanctuary Hills or Starlight Drive-In, or if you don't like cheating, wait until you locate the hatch in the Back Bay Alley in the Fens. Once your on the Platform create a Conquest Settlement and build until your heart's content!

Manual Installation: Just copy the Data folder from the .Zip file to your Fallout 4 game folder ( on steam that would be Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4 )

Removal:
Just Disable or Uninstall with NMM or delete the CaladonsBostonSkyHome.esp from your Data Folder

Coming Soon:
Once cdante updates the Terminal+ for the new fallout 4 - 1.10.2 version, I will be uploading a full Castle in the Sky ( Thanks Ethreon! ) that can be imported to this location.
