Hi, just dropping in to say for the record, I’m pretty much retired from Fallout (have been for a few years now) and more than likely have no plans on updating my settlements. As a fairly active builder for multiple years, I’m humbled to see many comments that I have missed, my apologies for the long silence.
Please do not download this, as I imagine many mods are outdated. Enjoy the gallery, go build something cool, and take care. :)
I wish there was an updated version of this that doesn't use the flat Spectacle Island mod. That mod is broken and never works correctly. Also, it would be nice if this were updated to use the newer versions of the other required mods.
Funny I just logged in for the first time in over a year and saw your recent comment! Sorry my friend but I’ve pretty much shelved Fallout. Maybe some day I’ll need to return but I won’t be updating any of my current settlements. Shame that some core mods simply don’t work anymore :/ I appreciate the comment.
first of all GREAT MOD!!!!!! second can we get an update for this currently you have to use " vanilla barn ext Ver.1.7 " instead of the current version of mod , if you dont use the older version you will have alignment problems and maybe go crazy thinking its something you did
This looks fantastic, I just wish the mod didn't require so many other mods. I'm hesitant to download a building mod that requires 10+ other mods that I might never even use. Any way you could consolidate them into the mod itself?
Hi TMan, I know that is a downer for those hesitant on adding so many mods. If you're not a FO builder, you might not have many of these mods. I cannot consolidate these mods, but I think the author of Transfer Settlements is working on some updates to make this process easier.
Even if you do not dive into building or mods much, I would highly recommend trying these mods.
I'm kind of in the same boat. This looks fantastic but its pretty mod heavy, and I already have a tonne of mods already. If I didn't have so many I wouldn't hesitate to download it. That said I would totally try this one out if I do another playthrough.
I have been using all of Ethreons work for quite some time and can say that the quality is beyond reproach. Additionally I have yet to have one of his cause any issues ingame.
I gotta agree with the others - 20+ mods to load a blueprint is just asking too much. This blueprint looks better than anything else I've seen for this location, but considering how difficult it can be to avoid conflicts when adding 2-3 mods at a time, trying to do 20+ is just not going to be easy. Have you considered making a scaled down version, one that doesn't need so many mods (surely you can ditch the birds, some signs...)
This is a great mod. I'm wanting to use the location as an isolated "secret weapons facility" for my Enclave character. It's PERFECT! However, I've encountered a couple bugs. Firstly, the road under the large pipe bridge and the cargo trailer, bordered by the lamp posts doesn't ever appear. Secondly, the wall around the door in front of the staircase leading up to the office doesn't appear either, so there's just a door standing there. Everything else seems to work just fine and looks great! If you have any suggestions as to what the issue could be, I'd be happy to hear them! Also the pipes on the large pipe bridge are a bit misaligned, and the Nuka Cola water tower doesn't appear.
First of all, I absolutely love this. I like to play a Mechanic-type character and having an abandoned warehouse like this is absolutely perfect and all that I wanted. Second, I don't know if you'll ever see this but my blueprint isn't detecting the Workshop Request esp (probably because it's been updated and renamed and such) and it's not detecting functional objects, either, even though both are installed and work.
