These are some general guidelines I used in making making the replacers work properly.
1- The weapon stats have been changed based upon https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9343/? (ie, the gun modifications are a bit more realistic, so no more damage loss from switching to an automatic receiver).
2- I had to take some liberties with the replacements. For example, if the original mod did not include a glow sight for a weapon, then I had to label the iron sight as the glow sight. Vanilla game assets were used when possible. Other than that, I wanted to keep the replacements as vanilla as possible, so the same crafting material/perk requirements were used.
3- Extra options were added to the replacer guns when able. For instance, the M4a1 comes with damage increase options now.
4- These replaces ARE NOT compatible with other mods that alter the same vanilla weapons (ie if another mod alters the vanilla gun you are replacing). All newly spawned weapons should have the new look of the weapon, uniques should also work fine.
5- If you want the other guns listed in the esp, you must spawn them in manually through the console, none of them are available natively in-game.
The combat rifle is replaced with the M4a1 from https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24392/? You MUST download that mod first and then confirm the overwrite with my esp. You need to attach the m4 rail in the workbench for the laser attachment to work.
The 10mm gun is replaced with the Mauser from https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14141/? You MUST download that mod, then Wardaddy's animations from https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/27835/? Confirm the overwrite with my esp
Handmade Rifle is replaced with the AK74m from https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21466/? You MUST download that mod and then confirm the overwrite with my esp.
Again, if you like the mods please considering endorsing the original mod authors.
