WHAT IT IS

This mod replaces 26 of the 53 large billboards that are composed of metal squares, 19 posters, the security posters and the images on the Bus Stops. All of the textures are lore friendly (and some add to the lore). These alterations are part of a bigger project that will replace approximately 75 % of the vanilla billboard and posters. I only replaced the images that I dislike and those that I consider are repeated too often. This is obviously a matter of personal taste. If you dislike something just delete it (learn first how to do that).


WHY i did this mod ( and will do the rest of it ) :

- To add more variety to the propaganda and advertisement that are displayed ingame .
- To replace images that i consider unappealing , bland ( who would feel tempted to smoke by an add like the one for Grey Tortoise ? ) .
- For a nation that is at war and that oppresses its citizens there is very few propaganda . Also , for a war economy , there is no mention of things like food rationing , and salvaging materials ( common themes in WW2 propaganda ) .
-I wanted to add some relevant aspects of Fallout lore to the game ( the fear of a biological weapon attack coming from China , the New Plague , etc. )
- A hero team like The Unstoppables reflect modern day society , not mid century America . The inclusive nature of The Unstoppables feels out of place , and that is why i removed the posters and billboards referring to them .

INSTALATION
There is really no need to complicate things so use a mod manager . If you want to do things manually search for a tutorial . English is not my first language , so my instructions could be confusing .


Optional
- I created the invisible texture for the generic posters ( they are the last images that i uploaded ) because in the past from time to time i would be distracted by how ugly and low res this textures are and how often they would be repeated . When I started using the invisible texture the only times i would notice the absence of the generic posters would be on the boards but nowadays I don't miss them at all .


WHAT'S NEXT
- Almost all other posters and vertical and horizontal billboards will be replaced . Probably the posters and billboards of Far Harbor will be the last to be released


WHEN
- It's hard to tell . Probably between one and three months .
