Well, Mechanist Power Armor v2.0 has been uploaded. Feel free to download and check. I imagine there should be no problems, but do let me know if there are any if you update from the now-old versions.. This update features everything, paintjobs, decals, those previous dual headlights and few more extra pieces to pick and choose from. including 3 legendaries.
I assume you found the burnt out PA pieces, right? They are dummy items that are used in the recipes, along with cables you can get if you manage to repair the electrical boxes of that ship on a loan building, without items you're given by the quest. the rest i'm not sure if i don't know how the item is named, so lemme know what i missed in the answer.
Yes, I found the burnt out PA pieces.But I can't fix them, they are just in the inventory and are not used in any way. Voltaic arms needsnewcables. I don't understand where to get them from. Excellent, it is just the new cables. They are given to you during a questline you'll get when you find USS Constitution https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/USS_Constitution is a big wooden sailship, stuck on a bank roof, with 6 rocket engines on its sides, full with robots. and you can complete the questlines however you wish, as long as you do the repairs well. at one point you'll be given a quest to repair the circuit boxes in the ship interior and somewhere there you can grab new cables. these are used to either repair the boxes, or to repair my armor pieces :] so you get a choice. or you get both if you can repair said boxes in the ship without the new cables.
I have already completed the Constitution quest a long time ago, and repaired everything on my own without cables. Now I understand where to get the new cables from. Thank you very much.
Not quite, just the material file to give it less shine and add glowmaps for various bits
As for the texture. the default Mechanist has; helm: textures\DLC01\Armor\Mechanist\MechanistHelmet_d.dds armor: textures\DLC01\Armor\Mechanist\Mechanist_d.dds
hm.. would someone enclave even wanna bother with this power armor? xD they don't like jokes, and this power armor is one but anyway, is there something special in the enclave look? or is it only the decal, on top of a 'railroad-black' paint?
maybe more of a chromo-blacken shiny texture with the enclave symbol of the upper left chest piece, and this was in fact inspired by the heavy railroad paint. (I would just replace it myself but I'm not every good with that.)
hah xD my textures are just fancy doodles and blobs of tint over a default mechanist texture xD Go ahead and replace any texture and decal, you will not screw up anything. But in Addition, you have an extra paintjob that is hidden, which is clean white, meant for any custom paintjob replacement that you folks can think of. you can get it ingame if you console-spawn its note. I think its called 'M-22' ?
Is there a way to just craft this? Automatron has always been super messed up for me, particularly the Mechanist's Lair. Robobrains never die correctly, and I had to force-finish the quest as the fight in the Mechanist's lair never worked correctly, nor did any of the doors (had to tcl through them). I tried looking around but could not find the armor frame.
technically yes.. you just need to spawn/have mechanist helmet/armor pieces, and 'project: mechanist power armor' holotape, to read the last entry in it, then you'll probably be able to build the tinker table and make stuff. you may optionally just spawn it all
be sure to add one of the shoulder cannons to the mechanist power armor right arm, that matches what the RHD shoots, and then add a targeting thing to the left power armor arm. then you'll be able to use it in that particular power armor. but that said, that gun is really an incomplete project, and buggy
Can you bring this to console I play on Xbox one and do rps like mechanist and grognak and id love this power armor for my mechanist I have like an army of over powered robots and it’d be awesome to be like a tank with them lol
While we would love to port this for xbox one, I atleast do not have access to the console nor do I have the knowledge to do the porting. But anyone is welcome to port it, just as long as they credit us for the original and ask us for permission.

I'm afraid it isn't quite useful on any power armor, its been a not successful attempt to make a weapon with a gimmick, so.. its been there merely for visual flare
I wish i could just attach a mr handy to the power armor.. its eyestalks can look at someone and shoot at the same time, believe it or not
well.. i'm not sure if the turret models would fit other power armor shoulders, but you just need to make a small dummy upgrade to right power armor arm of your choice, drawing the model from my mod
I beat the Mechanist and got her armor, but when I go into workshop mode at any of my settlements , I can't see the tinker table. I read that the Project Mechanist Power Armor holotape is near the burnt out power armor but I can't seem to find that . Could you maybe put up a snap shot of its location to give some help in locating it ? I'm collecting as many different power armors as I can get and would love to add this one to the collection , it would be #84 in the collection and I'm still collecting . ( Not having the holotape kind of defeats the purpose of the mod ) .
