I put this mod right at the bottom of my load order but the rebuilt house and shed from the The rebuild collection AIO are floating in mid air, I cant scrap them or remove them with console as they are marked as "non referenced objects"
No one asked about it before so I'm a bit confused. My companions and settlers keep going through the ground and beind teleported up again. I gave Preston a power armor and the ground kept shaking bc of him falling until I made him get out of it. All is normal, except for the NPCs.
The Island won't even change into the flat version. Anyone got any tips or advise? I have the Commonwealth Deep Clean Collection but I have this mod with way higher priority and it's in the right place in the mod order.
It's rightful place is last in the order, even after all scrapping mods.
This is because the mods that load last have the final say on what happens. This is important when it comes to any mod that makes (especially wide-ranging) changes to the original locations. Therefore, this also needs to load after anything that tries to preserve the originals (Like the Previsibine Repair Pack).
Hey so i love this mod and its worked forever but recently it suddenly started putting the old texture items back on the map, all around and inside my base which is completely ruining them, did i do something wrong or is this a glitch or am i screwed?
Did you ever figure out what happened, was it a glitch or something else? I started a new game and decided to keep using this mod. Not sure what changed, because this is the only mod near Spectacle Island (never had a problem using it before), and it pretty much exploded. Some of the items placed by the mod are floating, huge rocks are appearing out of nowhere and getting me stuck and the sky/land does some weird glitchy flashes. Which is unfortunate, because this was my favorite one to use for the island. Gonna try another new game.
same for me, each flat spectacle island mod have same issue, that need to be something in original files of game, they changed something in one of patches maybe?
I'm quite impressed with this mod! However, there are some serious problems which I have found and it may have something to do with the commenter below me and it's to do with the Previs. I have completely scrapped Spectacle Island (breaking the Precombines in the process, naturally) and now have a spot around the middle of the Island that if I spin in a 360 circular motion I have things missing from the horizon and that includes buildings all around me that I just built. Its around the same area as the big cliffs that were implanted. I deleted them, but the LOD still remains. I rebuilt the LOD, believe it or not and it worked but I still have the problem of the space where the cliffs were blocking vision and I'm not sure why.
I have tried to use the Previsibines Repair Pack (using only PPF.esm) but of COURSE it won't work because it's only designed to fix the *original* layout which didn't include being flattened. My bad. :D
Now I'm confused as to what to do. Maybe you're not even the person I should be asking (PRP guy might be best for both of us to talk to!) but in any case you need to be notified because of the parts that have been left in the mod, and probably unintentionally. Anyhow, any insight you have would be great.
This mod gets a well deserved endorsement for the idea alone.
By the sounds of things you need to put the .esp file to the very bottom of your load order (even after any scrapping mods). You are seeing these ghosts because they are ghosts in a way. They are LOD images. LOD are the images of buildings etc that you see from a long distance. They won't have much detail until you get close enough to trigger the full image with all the details.
Example: A brick house might not be easily seen as a brick house from a mile away. But get up close and you can now see the bricks.
So the author may have had these images in play on another settlement they made and forgot to drop the LOD. I'm about to ask a question about this very problem. With any luck, we'll have some insight.
I managed to get mine to go by using the 'disable' command after clicking on each part. I'm not certain which command you were using? Apparently 'markfordelete' can break things too, so probably a safer option to disable.

Sadly the mirelurks keep respawning infinitely. Is it just me? Is there a way to stop them from being all over the place?
