    Latest version : 2.0.2
    Change log :
    Spoiler:
    Show
The mod has been completely redesigned to be more performant, stable, and user-friendly.
Papyrus scripts are no longer used as the entire face regeneration process is now done through a DLL library whose options are fully configurable through a configuration file (more details on the description page).

Also, you can now manually correct the player or an NPC's face using the console :

    • Open the console using the tilde key (~)
    • Click on the actor whose face you want to regenerate.
    • Type "rff" into the console and confirm.

Why is it that the new version of this mod has the description "Not compatible with NG version. Use v1.2.1"?

If we need to use the legacy version of this mod with the current version of fallout 4 what was the reason for creating this new version? Did the legacy version of the mod not work with the legacy version of fallout 4?

The legacy version of the mod stopped working as F4SE expanded and updated so the 2.0.2 version fixes that. But many mods and presets changing up face and or body textures will not play nice and work well regardless.  so this fix will not always work, regardless. using it on the Next Gen version will corrupt the game.

Does not work. Installed with Vortex, and game startup sent an error message immediately.

I set "facegen_nps" to 1,  streaming_mode to 1 and fast mode to 1. Yet my companion's and a lot of NPC's face still has a large chance to turn brown every time I fast travel or enter new areas. RFF command works but it is quite incovinient to do this manually every time of a brown face. I was kinda hoping this mod will do this automatically, if I understand it correclty. In short the fix works but it is just not applied automatically for every npc. The same issue persists when switching to the 1.2.1 version. Is there something I did wrong?

Streaming mode really isn't consistent. There's another mod that can fix several faces around the player with a consumable hotkey, Brown-Rusty Face Fix VR. It can be used concurrently with this mod.

Install this in the game folder where the exe is, and also install the stable legacy and open the command and write bat face, so you don't have to do it one by one to each NPC, it's better
