http://cdn.meme.am/instances/500x/64259189.jpg not really an airborne unit . Colors never run flag is backwards. Try the 82nd, 4-25 or 173rd.

small correction to the beret, in the US Army red berets are for airborne units and green berets are for special forces, but other than that great job.

An add on to this. You don't put the U.S. Army Special Forces shoulder patch on the green beret, you put a group flash and Special Forces crest or officer's rank over the flash. The right shoulder flag should also be in the assault position on the right shoulder (opposite direction).

The beret is not part of the mod, its just a "what it could look like" sort of thing, and the flag is the right way round from the pictures i used to base it on, its the uniform from WW2. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Ky2M_SdISPk/T3UPwlGGI7I/AAAAAAAACgg/dBvcxiobXB8/s1600/100_3690.JPG

You may have accidently invented the only Fallout mod ever that violates real life 'lore' rather than game lore.

Guess now I can be Private Ryan.

    Gripes:
    - I'd also like the WW2-era US flag to be a patch option
    - This could be a stand-alone so only specific characters are airborne.

    Hello again, another request:
    10th Mountain Division.

A lot of Veterans have a pet peeve about uniform layout, most of us share the mentality if you are going to represent the institution we are (where, or know someone who did) willing to die for, you could 'do it right". Seeing how this is a game with an alternate timeline uniform discrepancies should be overlooked.
Again fine addition to FO4 thanks for detail and the time making these mods.

In the second World War, the Flag Code didn't exist as it does now, thus members of the 101st did wear their flag patches like this, you can even see it in photographs from the era. Proper flag etiquette wasn't formalized until the 50's. However, thank you for your service sir.
