You should be able to send companions, supply lines, and settlers to Charlestown Condo with the latest update. I also made the Condo into a fully-featured workshop where all items can be placed. If these features don't work, there's a few things you can try: - Playing the game for a while (for some reason the invisible quest that adds CC as a settlement you can send companions to doesn't always trigger). - Go to the workbench and open up the developer console (~ key). Click on the workshop with the developer console open. You should see "xx000ada[EP]" pop up on your screen (the first two letters do not matter). If you see "xx000cd8" or "xx1C9085" (again, first two letters do not matter), you are selecting a visual effect which makes the condo look dusty, so get closer to the workshop. Once you have the workshop selected, run these two console commands: setpv OwnedByPlayer True setav 33c 1 - Last resort: Going back to a previous save, before you discovered the condo, and then trying all of the things above.
Thank you for this version of the mod and I hope it will work because going back before discovering the condo is not an option, I invested many hours in the Charlestown Condo so I am not doing again the decorating stuff.
if these console commands doesn't work, try "addkeyword 5A0C8" . it changes the workshop to an exterior version. (the one in the condo, home plate etc is an interior version that is more restricted.) the addkeyword command worked for me :)
Does making it a fully functional workshop mean that I can build vanilla and DLC Items not usually allowed? Like the barber's chair from Vault-Tec Worksjop?
Does someone else have the bug that they cant build anything on the wooden floor, too? The Objects just float through it like air and will not become green. On the carpets they snap on and become green like it normaly should.
I have not downloaded this mod, although I am tempted to for the full settlement features. I can tell the mod is complete, but I was wondering if there was a possibility of a mod that would only add the full workshop/settlement features, like some do with Home Plate.
To be clear, the mod looks great, I just prefer the more worn look of the original home. If a version was made that was ONLY the workshop/settlement features, I would definitely download and endorse.
I love it, however, I have one gripe. All the pictures in the condo are the same. I don't know why you would set them up as a collection with all the same picture and make it so you have to scrap all or none. I don't know anyone who would have the same picture up again and again, even within the same room. Not only that, but it's the same image in four different frames. Why?!?! Why?!?! It's driving me crazy looking at all of those lighthouses (at least in my game)!
I've got a little bit of a problem. Using the console commands, the Charlestown Condo does appear in the list of settlements I can send people to, but once I select it the settler/companion will just freeze in place and never actually go there. Is anyone else having this issue?
Great idea, I'll add that into the next version. I don't want to diverge too much from the original purpose of the mod, but I think it would be a good addition.
Ok I will wait the next version, I really want to send my companions to Charlestown Condo just like home plate from Diamond City. Godspeed to making the next version really quickly :)
You might be able to do it with console commands, see here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/4465605-santuary-hills-not-showing-up-as-a-workshop-settlement/
If you can send companions/settlers, you should be able to send dogs as well. There might be some issues with sending the creation club dogs, but I can't do much about it considering that Bethesda doesn't release the source code for their creation club scripts (which makes reverse engineering the problem difficult), and it would most likely involve me adding those creation club dogs in as a mod requirement.
thanks for the full workbench access, I was able to enclose the workbench room with a wall and door frame and door and even matched the brown brick from the snappy mod

Any chance you could also make it so this mod makes the condo counted as a full settlement so we can place all the items in it? Unfortunately we dont have a door tab to place new doors down.
Was just going to say, a fantastic work cleaning this place up, but I realized it is YET ANOTHER limited settlement. I wish the Creation Club mods were more full featured ...
Thanks for the suggestion. I added this in, and I should have an update done in a few days. I still have a few more things I want to add in/test before I upload the update.

I used it for a bit, it works well. I'm giving this one a go now but that one was fine.
Can you improve your mod by allowing companions to be sent to this player home just like home plate from Diamond City?

I am playing on Survival Level now, so console commands are out.
