it's not canon but it is lore friendly because the institute made some mutants and there are FEV variants. Viruses change and people do stuff. Anything is possible with what bethesda has done to the Fallout universe. including kid in a fridge
Fo1 had female super mutants, and in Fo2, while widely ignored, your companion Marcus claims they can even reproduce; it just takes a while for things to start working again. This is hardly not lore-friendly, as in the canceled Fallout Extreme one of the playable presets was going to be a female super-mutant. There's plenty of evidence for sexual dimorphism. The only reason Bethesda never adopted it is that only male super mutants were depicted in art in the original titles, likely just due to limitations or time constraints on asset creation. i do wish Bethesda would start doing more diverse super-mutant designs again.
I am sorry but I have not been able to come up with a good answer to this question. One of the problems is certain areas have static specific spawned mutants. Every time they are the same type. From a coding perspective they don't use a leveled list to spawn the super mutants. As a result they will never be female.
If you can find a dynamically spawned super mutant it is possible to to use console commands to make it keep changing to a randomly selected super mutant. One such method is to enter the console ~, left click on the mutant, type tai in the console (helpful but not required step that makes it so the target freezes and stops attacking you when exit the console), type disable, type enable, exit the console. Repeat until it turns into a "female". Are other console commands for spawning things from a leveled list but I don't know how.
I use the mod NPCs Travel https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16987. It can be set to spawn a number of super mutant groups that move around the commonwealth. I know it creates super mutants added by this mod.
Could you talk with "Abbalovesyou"? He or She makes Super Mutants playable, the ones with from The Super Mutant Redux Mod, They might able to add your Female Super Mutants to the Playable Super Mutants Mod.

I noticed that you have "Not lore-friendly" tag on this mod, but as matter of fact there are in fact female super mutants in fallout universe.
As for those who can't appreciate your work, I say to them reeducate yourself.
