A note on reddit: I recommend using https://www.reddit.com/r/Fallout_VR/ for discussion of Kabuto:VR and Fallout 4 VR modding in general, the old subreddit has been taken over by a troll moderator named "xMindweaverx" who banned many great FO4 modders and community contributors.
I'd recommend reporting any FRIK related crashes on that mods page or over on r/fo4vr. I'm sure RollingRock would be happy to help out and may ask you for some log files.
3.2.0 works fine for me with FRIK installed and the PAFAS system works - so I don't think there is any specific issue between this and FRIK itself - unless a specific settings like body position/scale or the arms only mode cause issues?
Hi! Amazing mod! I have one peculiar glitch though that I can't figure out. I get these weird textures flashing in front of me, looks like the ground/floor starts dancing. Happens every 10-30 seconds while I'm moving around. Anyone else having the same problem? Only thing I haven't tried yet is disabling the mod "Fallout 4 Reworked Project Revised" by Halk Hogan or "Darker Nights". Gonna try doing that, but I don't expect it to be the issue, so I'm asking this beforehand anyway, since I won't be able to test it until later and figured it won't hurt to see if anyone knows the solution from the top of their head.
Yup, same issue here. Can't figure out what could be causing it. Maybe a texture mod for the armor itself? I dunno, hopefully someone can replicate what causes it and/or the mod author takes care of it.
Nevermind, I fixed it! Think it had something to do with my load order and FRIK, it was just below the highest priority (highest being FRIK). went back to save prior to getting in it and it works! Hope this helps.
Edit: It broke for me again idk what to do anymore
Did you ever figure out what was causing it had the same issue with graffiti like texture dancing in the power armor depending on the angle I was looking at.
Unlikely, the helmets take a long time to produce, I'd need permissions from the original mods to alter their meshes and personal, I don't use modded PA's. Maybe one day, but at the moment no.
It would require an update of the equipping / unequipping scripts. Certainly possible perhaps to keep unknown helmet types in an array and allow for some sort of user choice of the selectable ones. I'll keep it in mind if I update the mod.
Yeessss, this! I absolutely love this mod! The only issue i have is when I use a mod added power armor and the helmet doesn't match the armor I'm wearing. Try getting out of raider armor and putting the T-49 on... uuhhgg. If at least I could choose from the other helmets I would be happy, errr happier...I still love this f@#ging mod!
I'd like to add the ability to support custom PAs, I have some ideas, I may not actually make the helmets personally, but at least make something which would use a generic helmet which could then be replaced with a different model should one be created.
Im getting issues with the PAFAS module. Sometimes it locks me out of the power Armor entirely after I exit. None of the activators on the back of the power armor work even though the rollover appears. Happens particularly if I fail to get in the power armor after it opens. I get a lot of "pipboy opening" sounds in series also, like a script is trying to do something but failing.
Very strange because theres no mention on the forum with anyone else having problems. I will attempt a re install after a clean save.
I think part of the problem is my ini edits affecting activate distance. It might be changing the position of the "open" activator, which seems to be closer to the "butt" of the armor with whatever settings I have.
First of heard of this issue but at least a clean install of the mod resolved it. I do have a new version of Kabuto which I keep meaning to upload which adds a few extra features and also extends the activation point. I'll try and get around to updating the mod when I can.
Anyone aware if there are issues with this mod and FRIK? Frik has an option to remove the player head that i use for some compatibility stuff, i was wondering if that would intefere with this mod
Same issue here. I searched my entire PC hardrive for the Kabuto_Readme.txt, and zero results. I rechecked the file path, no Kabuto_Readme.txt. I resinstalled the mod several times, no Kabuto_Readme.txt was ever installed. No file name that resembles Kabuto Readme exists. Can somebody please just copy_paste the contents of the file into this forum??

We look forward to seeing there!

play with the Frik holotape, move the player body back a bit that usually helps
