Changes: - Realistic Insulation: Fused Universal Insulation functionality into Realistic for armors that are not already supported. - Decreased Maximum Insulation to 100->45 by Default Note: I will later be introducing perks to increase this, but in general I found that once >60 insulation was achieved, it pretty much nullified the temperature mechanic. - Changed mod initialization conditions to begin AFTER leaving Vault 111 (by whatever means that is) - Ailments can be tracked in Effects tab in the Pipboy and heal duration can be shortened by sleeping/waiting for the recovery duration assuming the Player is not and does not become hypothermic. - Reduced the alcohol penalty from -30 Insulation to -10 Insulation - Moving water to a container while the temperature is above 32F 0C or in range of a heat source, will not freeze the water. - Cold food no longer conflicts with mods that change the warm food variant, their effects will now be mirrored. - Fixed a bug where frostbite would not dispel. - Fixed a bug where amnesia would permanently change the timescale. - Fixed a bug in which Frostbite would reduce insulation by -80, has been scaled down to -5. - Fixed a bug in which water may not unfreeze after 30 mins in game times. - Fixed a bug in which dropped food and water would not become cold after being dropped.

this is my first ever mod, I'm not sure about how posting links to my own mod works here I'm just trying to spread the word so others don't spend days troubleshooting like I did.
Is there like a wiki or supporting document that provides guidelines on how each mod item works? I'm confused with how the Furnace Backpack works since I do have Wood and Flamer Fuel but it doesn't provide me anything.
I know I'm pretty late to this but were you able to fix it ? , l get a box pop-up when it's loading a new game and can't exit out , can't even make a choice with cursor
So, I downloaded this mod and got the holotape. I received the notifications like 'Nuclear Winter starting up,' but the Commonwealth still has the exact same textures as vanilla Fallout 4. Nothing has changed—no HUD elements, nothing at all. I have all the dependencies, all the DLCs installed via MO2. I’ve confirmed the load order, confirmed the script extender, but it just hasn’t changed anything. All settings in the holotape won’t change at all either. Is it dead without seasons??
Sad the FO4 Seasons mod is no longer available. Found this mod and gave it a try just to see how it works. Will take time but seeing the moisture from nate\nora breathing is wicked cool. :)

Trying to figure out how the insulation values are determined will take time. Going by the values, if you have an armor rating of 45 then its insulation value is +/- 30?
love the mod, though is it possible to alter the conditions of when you get certain effects, I'm getting hypothermia and frozen water at 5 degrees celcius
Not too sure why but the most left I can put the widget for temperature and wind speed is almost centre screen, luckily it looks best in the right hand corner but still an odd one
I have another question and this time, I have looked but didn't find the answer. Do you know if this mod runs alongside well with Advanced Needs 76? I didn't find a patch anywhere and I would love to run the 2 mods together.
Hello, just went back to Fallout 4 after a five years stop and I have just discovered this mod, looks awesome, back in the days, I was hoping for an equivalent of Frostfall in Skyrim. And now that's it. I used to fiddle with Frostfall's settings to match the seasons in my game (hotter in summer, colder in winter etc.). I would like to try the same with this one. "Summer" is easy, you turn the mod "off", Winter is easy, you set it to "realistic winter", but for Autumn and Spring, less so. Now, I will look into this, but maybe some of you already tried this and could give me some hint? Maybe adjusting the difficulty scale or adding insulation to clothes? What do you think?
HELP ME ... i successfully installed the mod along with it patches for nac x and gas mask of the wasteland.. i started the game and it works, i received notification "nuclear winter starting up" but 1. HUD didn't displaying any wind and heat number 2. Character didn't experiance cold/wet 3. Other settings in MCM menu are on eccept for game system and insulation ( can be turned on but no effect and after close and reopen the settings they are turned back off) 4. Food and beverage works 5. UNTIL SUDDENLY : - hud disapear - game turned in to pitch white ( i have to force close the game). - Start the game again load to the last save the mod not working ( only the food and beverage item appear in inventory)
