For those who have problems with the mod (vault girl head is missing, animations are missing, crashes, and etc.), I recommend to do the following: - Check if you have the latest version of the VGM Fomod installer (currently, v.1.0.2) - Reinstall the mod - Check if your mod install order is right (DEF_UI-->VIS-G-->VG Mod-->LevelUpMenuEX) - Check if your other UI changing mods are updated to the latest version
If you do not understand what I mean by the "install order", you need to override already installed files with VGM files. You can set rules for each conflicting file individually by clicking on "Manage rules" button in Vortex. Here is the example with some mods. NTB! If you have weird block/rectangular pictures instead of VG animations or "Vault Boy heads", it could be so that some other mods are incompatible with VGM. To isolate the issue, you may try to enable only Vault Girl mod and one or several suspicious mods simultaneously. Sorry, I do not have time and desire to check all possible combinations. So, please, spend some time doing that. If you find such a mod, please, inform everyone here. Later, I can add those incompatible mods to the description.
I don't think it will be updated tbh, the last update was July 13th, 2019, so it's been almost two years. I don't blame the author though lol, Fallout 4 modding is kinda dying out
no fallout 4 modding isn't dying out you have new mod authors like 4estgimp dak and many others still going strong and as long as there are passionate modders and passionate fans fallout 4 modding will never die out however i agree i don't blame the mod author check the new weekly mods tab if you don't believe me
This mod needs to be completed it's a beautiful motif to have instead of the pipboy/vaultboy to have an actual pipgirl/vaultgirl. This is pure genius don't let it die of lack of effort.
Does someone know what to do for this mod to not modify dialogue? I'm using Full Dialogue Interface, which is customizable and this mod provides only 2 options and I don't like neither of them
Ok, solved if somebody runs in the same problem as me, you can just replace Vault girl's > interface dialoguemenu.swf and multiactivatemenu.swf with Full Dialogue's
Go in the mod files you downloaded and look for the mentioned files and replace them its not that hard.
Take it from someone who has spent probably well over 1000 hours modding my bethesda games, stop using vortex/NMM, manually download your files. MO2 is simply the best thing you can do for your modding experience.
Firstly, great mod. I found an odd bug with this mod, and that is when using the Vats module in the FOMOD, it makes it so the red targeting brackets are huge in vats, with the Vats module not checked, the issue is gone.
I fixed this by opening the vatsmenu.swf of this mod with JPEXS, adding a DefineScalingGrid tag under both DefineSprite (12)and DefineSprite (20), turning on editing, then replacing the default numbers with those of the DefineScalingGrid tags under DefineSprite (7) and DefineSprite (15), respectively, of the vanilla vatsmenu.swf. Save the file and voila, no more thick brackets!
For anyone getting the male head on a female body, the female body on a male head, etc etc... make sure you scroll down in the FOMOD. There's apparently a lot of options below the two visible ones. I've struggled with this for weeks, don't be me.
If you use this mod alongside ‘You Are Exceptional - Skills and Perk Overhaul’ you’ll get a CTD while creating your character or any time you open the perk chart. This can be fixed by simply installing Vault Girl without any perk icon replacers, since that’s what’s conflicting with YAE, if you do that the mods work together perfectly. Hope this helps someone who needs it!
This mod makes the VATS Targeting Brackets Super Thick! I am running XDI and Def_Ui and have the according patches enabled via vortex installation. Would love some help with this irritating visual bug.
Based on the description and video not all UI animations and perk tree animations are done, and so some of them will still stay as Vault Boy, is that correct?
Hello i updated some missing Perk Animations for my self and i will do all Perk animations. So my Question is. Is it ok when i upload my finished work with your content? Or do u wanne finished it at your self in the future?
I can confirm that this mod, used together with LevelUpMenuEx, is making the game crash
As soon as I disable this mod, then I can open the perk menu just fine
Sadly the author will never patch this, and it's very unlikely that some else will make a patch for it
Update!!! I just found a FIX for this issue!!! If you are using VORTEX, just let the levelupmenu.swf file from LevelUpMenuEx to load AFTER the one from this mod, so that the file the game loads is the one from LevelUpMenuEx
If using MO2, then just load LevelUpMenuExbelow this mod, so that it wins all file conflicts
I can help out if you tell me what mods are in conflict, a SS can help a lot with detailed info
For me, in this game, load order is something i don't need to pay much attention, mostly because mod authors already give unique names to their mod files, and a mod conflict would occur when you use 2 mods that do the same thing
Load order does matter in Bethesda game and in Baldur's Gate 3 just to mention another, but there are many ways to resolve these conflict issues
Did it work? Level up menu was crashing my game before so I disabled it but I installed this and now my pipboy completely freezes when I use it. Not sure if anyone comments here anymore but I appreciate you explaining how to do it on MO2!!
Can anyone tell me the full path to the Data-Interface-Components folder for the vaul girl status files? condition_head and condition_body_0. Thank you

THEY WON'T WORK TOGETHER NO MATTER WHAT PATCH YOU USE!
Edit:
Nevermind, finally fixed it. All is well. Disreguard.

Why don't you grow some balls instead and use Vortex and troubleshoot these issues?
I have used MO2 too, i don't like it, that's it, i find more extremely useful features in Vortex, besides I'm far more used to it.
You are just being rude
