Thank you for endorsing and playing with this mod. Enjoy!
20/11/2022 Screen Archer Menu has been released and a SAM-compatible skeleton has been added.
A note on the v3.0 update: The revamped FOMOD should make installations even simpler than before but may have some mistakes or issues (such as wrong variants being installed). Please report them in case you find any.
Please check the 'Miscellaneous Files' section for compatibility files. Unless otherwise mentioned, these files are not 3BBB compatible.
Currently available files: - 3BBB-compatible files available for CaN Ponies. Full credit for this goes to Halotroop0/Boethiah. Partially untested. - Nanakochan Race files are now 3BBB Compatible. - Nanakochan Race (Type 1 and 2) [Thanks to LordSeralman] - Adjusted Neck and Head Proportions - shorter neck with vanilla head size (Type 1 and 2) - No Collapsed Butt (Check out the 'Rocket' Bottom files) - Adjusted Neck and Head Proportions - shorter neck with vanilla head size 'Sophie' Edition (Type 1 and 2) [Thanks to JackLively]
To use separate skeletons for male and female characters, it is highly recommended to useDiscrete Female Skeleton. The main FOMOD setups already have full support for DFS. If you are installing any other misc. files variants, simply put the 'skeleton.nif' into a subdirectory 'female' within the 'characterassets' folder.
Setting up Skeletal Adjustments for CBBE for use with GSS: To properly set up GSS, make sure to read its documentation thoroughly first. For Female player = select 'Vanilla' install (an option to install a male skeleton is at the end of the setup). For Male player = select 'GSS' install. If you have enabled a GSS plugin in your game, make sure both male and female skeletons are installed in their respective directories, otherwise, you will CTD! NOTE: There is a typo in the FOMOD installer (on the GSS Male page). It should say 'use this if you do not want males to be affected by the changes'. I will correct this in a future release. Spotted thanks to Ausarq23. Corrected as of v3.0. A note on compatibility patches: If your favorite skeleton mod is not available in the 'Miscellaneous Files' section, refer to the guide posted in the 'Article' section to create your own compatible version. Optionally, if you would like to share your version with everyone, you can send the file to me, and I will post them here, with full credits.
A note on shoes/outfits, etc. in the screenshots: Some of the outfits showcased here may be currently available (or in the future) on NukaLord's Patreon.
I'm not sure if this is a known issue, but when I install this adjustment, the legs of the CBBE Reduced model lose collision after a foot is dismembered and end up clipping through the ground...
----
Sorry, I forgot I reported this problem years ago and it's a won't fix bug. I just recently came back to the game, never mind me...
FIX, finally after a long time (Like 6 hours) searching fixes for the body or clothes clipping with nanako race mod.
Im using the harmony guide of nanako to got it working in the game so if youre using it too i hope this helps.
Download the nanako 3bbb files from Miscellaneous. (you dont have to enable it) Go to data/meshes/actor/character/characterassets and copy the skeleton.nif file
In the animeracenanakochan skeleton fix (the mod that uses the guide instead of racecustomizer). Go Here Data/meshes/actor/character/characterassets/nanarace and hide the skeleton.nif with MO2 if youre not using MO2, then delete it or simply rename it. after that paste the skeleton.nif that you copy from the miscellaneous for nanako in the same place.
It should look like this Skeletonbad.nif.mohidden Skeleton.nif
Or just Skeleton.nif (being this the one that you copy)
Thats all i hope it worked for you.
And im using a 3bbb bodyslide model that i found on the comments section from the mod 3BBB Physics (CBBE - TWB) for nanako race mod.
I forgot if you didnt knew, to access the files with the explorer on MO2 just double clicking a mod in and going to the filetree section, and just right click, you will see a option called "open the explorer" to paste archives or something else.
English is not my main so if something is misspelled sorry.
In case you want to do it manually, just remove one or the other, for vanilla or DFS, respectively. Data\meshes\actors\character\characterassets\skeleton.nifData\meshes\actors\character\characterassets\female\skeleton.nif
I've had a headache for the past 3 hours trying to figure out why the fix wasn't working, and it turned out it was all about the knee height slider in Bodyslide. So here's my question: how can I keep the fix working and at the same time make the knee higher or shin longer?
Not possible sadly. It's a mesh/animation system thing. You could technically use a skeleton with an even higher knee bend/fix, but your character will look really strange standing still.
The right hip seems to take a very weird, sharp right angle when pumping water or sitting in certain places, like cooking stations, and it looked like the pelvis completely flattened out on Cait while shes sneaking but it doesn't do that on my character. I took a screenshot but couldn't attach it here, is this just me?
It's normal and has nothing to do with this mod. CBBE weights are...not the best, sadly. I have tried to improve the hips in 3BBB meshes, but that's just one small fix vs the mountain of remaining weirdness.
Hi, I just istalled this mod in my Skyrim modlist because I havent seen that it is for Fallout. Just wanted to say that i could install it without any problems and it looks like it worked haha. Thanks for your work!
If you have Nifskope, it's quite easy to do. Just open up the skeleton.nif file, look for the 'HEAD_offset' NiNode with a scale value of 1.105000 and increase it to however much you like (you can use the 3d preview to find the node more easily). Alternatively, you can use Screen Archer Menu to do it in-game.
Is it possible to install manually? I just want the type 1 knee/neck fix. I downloaded mod manager before vortex, and ended up with a virus, so I have avoided using one. Thanks for doing this.
You can open up the archive, find your preferred skeleton's nif file, rename it to skeleton.nif and paste it into Data\meshes\actors\character\characterassets directory.
I'll try that again, did not work last time, or I did it wrong. I only have cbbe .esp, body slide, and the cherry physics mods installed. Thanks for such a a quick response.
If that didn't work, it means you are using something like DFS or a custom race that modifies the default skeleton path. If you are using DFS, make sure to put the skeleton.nif under the Data\meshes\actors\character\characterassets\female directory instead.
Well thanks for all your help, I tried that, but I just have cbbe, bodyslide, cherry physics, so no custom race. What is strange though is the rocket bottom type 1 butt part work, but not the neck or knee, when putting in Data\meshes\actors\character\characterassets.
I wonder if the cherry physics is causing the issue, but I don't have that on any of the outfits and knee, neck do not work. Well you tried thanks again.:)
I could have saved a lot of time if your comment would have been in a readme that came with the mod. I didn't know I had to change the name of the skeleton.typ1.buttgirl.nif to just .nif and I didn't know where to put the file. Thank you it finally worked,
hi! hello! i know i wasn't the one who asked, but, could you do a version of the skeleton that does that? smaller feet and hand? not by much just a little smaller to be a little more realistic?, i am sorry i have 0 knowledge on how to edit meshes like that, the maximum i know is how to change hair colors and textures paths on nifskope lol, or please point me on right direction on nifskope and say what i have to do, to change specifically that on the skeleton. i am already using your skeleton Type1 and Neck, for a more realistic sized head xD now i need hands and feet lol.
@guilhersms I don't plan on adding any more variants to this. But my body preset mod, Voluptuous Opulence, does come with a skeleton with smaller hands that you may like. But if you want more flexibility, try using Screen Archer Menu instead. Though I haven't tried using it extensively, you should technically be able to create custom, per-bone adjustments in-game and save them.

Make sure to install only ONE file.

The neck-head adjustment option does make the head slightly larger while making the neck shorter.
