Using this with a leveled lists injector and got some questions: (even though I have 0 hope of getting answers) 1. Why is the damage so high? Even for Killing Kellog, at my current level this outscales all revolvers of all mods I am using 2. Is the Ammo added to Scrounger, or can I only buy it?
I don´t know, but, you can lower the damage of the weapon as I did with the FO4Edit. I lowered some and it´s okay. I love the design of the weapon, but, I really love the Lemat revolver.

Hello! I noticed there is a bug with the default colt python when changing the barrel. When you change the barrel the sight thing on the front stays in the same spot the short barrel is. I was also noticed my damage isn't high either with both versions even with upgrades. The hunter receiver only does 18 damage despite having perks and stuff, and so does the plasma receiver. I'm using levelupmenuex so I'm not sure if it's due to that
That's due to the sights. They don't change when the barrel changes. The sights are labeled "Standard Sights for Short Barrel". Change them to anything else and the sights should align themselves properly.
If anyone else is having the same issue as me (with the gun's sound being incredibly loud) I fixed this by
Opening it in FO4Edit (it's Python2.esp)
Expanding "Sound Descriptor" (you should see two entries there, WPNPythonFire and WPNPlasmaPythonFire)
Scroll down to "Static Attenuation (db)" and changed it to something that's more comfortable (for me it was "12.000000"). It'll warn you about changing this value but I've never had any issues so far
Save changes (CTRL+S or menu in top left) and then close FO4Edit
I've never used FO4Edit before this so I'm not sure if there's an easier way or not (I guess you could edit the actual sound file contained in the mod? but I'm not sure)
if you have a mod that let you create legendary items you can use it to make a fake legendary changing the way it works i use that to change the stats of weapons to make them worthy of use(most don't have damage modifiers or have other issues to change, recoil, rate of fire/reload or awfull range) just to adapt the gun to my preferences

I fixed this by
- Opening it in FO4Edit (it's Python2.esp)
- Expanding "Sound Descriptor" (you should see two entries there, WPNPythonFire and WPNPlasmaPythonFire)
