    FAQ I can't access global stash inventory through workshop storage.


    Yes that is correct, the red workSHOP storage is no longer used except to collect resource production.
    Access the global stash inventory through: 

    (a) workSHOP [Stash Menu] if enabled,  
    (b) workBENCH inventory if connected,  
    (c) workBENCH [Stash Menu] if enabled, 
    (d) construct a stash access point,
    (e) [.SKK Open global stash favourite ] aid item if enabled,
    (f) hotkey the console command [ cqf SKK_GSS "SKK_GSSStashScript.OpenGlobalStash" ].

    Come on folks thats 6 options all fully documented with pictures as well,
    or did you just install without RTFM ?

    COMPATIBILITY OBSERVATIONS

    Works with Sim Settlements 1.

    Works with Fallout4 VR if the ESP header is modified from 1.0 to 0.95

    Works with Workshop Framework if autotransfer (workshop kick in/out) is disabled.

    Incompatibile with Sim Settlements 2. (don't know why tho.)

    Incompatible with AWKCR, WIPAG (anything that modifies base game power armor workbench keywords.)

    Incompatible with Frost (downtown inventory linking ?)

    Does the functionality of this mod just make it incompatible with the "workbench" found in point lookout? The rapid open/close prevents opening the workbench menu.

      If the workshop is a standard base game form/asset then no.

      If it uses workshop plus or has been monkeyed with from BASE GAME STANDARDS then probably yes.

    What are the default settings?
    I was happy with it, then I decided to change the default settings to consolidate fusion cores, and I changed something that was wrong and now my settlements don't have anything in their workshops.
    I would like to set it back the way it was but I don't know how I screwed up

    Back from a couple year break and delighted to see SKK continues to be the king of quality-of-life-mods!

    Seems to work great, although I'm still a bit confused about the best set-and-forget setting, which seems to boil down to the consolidate function.
    Lets see if I got this right: The main reason for using autoconsolidate would be to cram more production out of settlements? Meaning if I leave it off and link settlements everything will work just fine and they share resources? Also I think I saw some other link-setting, from SS iirc, will these interfere somehow? Apologies if I missed a readme.

    Either way great work and thanks, going to dig through your files to see what other goodies are new!

      Sounds like you have it correct.

      Dont know if SS workshop inventory linking conflicts, not seen any reports of issues.

      Thanks for replying. Got 3-4 settlements and no issues and I think I have enabled links everywhere so all is good. Used to run that logistics station mod which is pretty cool and immersive but it will be nice not to bother this time around! :)

    Is it possible to disable Global Stash from collecting all workshop contained items?

    I have "Stash workshop auto transfered" set to "Off". But every time I access the Global Stash via hotkey item, all my workshop containers are being deposited into the Global Stash. I was under the assumption that disabling Auto Transfer would disable the transfer both ways Global Stash <---> Workshop Stash and vice versa.

    Wondering if I am missing something.


    Edit: Figured it out. It was the "Auto consolidate resources" setting. Disabling that kept the items from being moved to my global stash. Thats a bummer. I was wanting to keep the global stash there to collect all extra resources from my Workshops, but keep the actual workshops inventory from getting mixed in.

      There is no possible logic in the known universe to do this (without hacking WorkshopParentScript). Produced resources are stored in the inventory, its all one big fat thing.

    I don't know how to ask this without sounding like an idiot, so I'm just gonna have to take the heat on it. 

    Question: Is there a certain type of mod I should look for that might conflict with this one? 

    Reason: I've used this mod before and it's worked flawlessly. After I took a small hiatus and rebuilt my list It was working perfectly fine, but now it freezes when I try to grab everything from all workshops. I tried disabling a bunch of mods that were new since my last game, but can't figure out which one(s) it is.

    Any point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time!

      Most usual is a bad container inventory entry caused by a mod being removed.

      Could be more than 65,536 of any one inventory item in a stack.

      Could be an inventory object with a oncontainerchange script that keeps trying to regenerate itself in the original container or pop a modal UI message.

      Could be an inventory monitor with InventoryEventFilter that keeps trying to repopulate a container with items or pop a modal UI message.

      Could be > insert several hundred other things <

      That helps, actually. I had a weird glitch towards the beginning of my game, but I was able to fix it. Apparently it must have altered some other things. Thank you for putting up with my ignorance! Love your work by the way!

    Hey ! Quick question, when i disable (1) auto transfer to stash and enable (2) auto consolidation, after i put everything in a workshop (with the holo) sometimes in workshop mode i just have the time to place 1 object and then everything is hoovered from the workshop (impossible to reproduce the same thing by loading previous save). Is that the consolidation system ?

      Yes auto consolidation expects auto transfer to be enabled as they compliment each other. So auto consolition is probably triggering.

    Hi ! For some reason i don't have the option (3) Automatically connect owned workshop settlement 
    On the holotape. Am i missing something ?

      Yes, the bethesda.net mod site is broken so I have been unable to publish any updates to existing Xbox mods for several months.

      Bethesda are aware of the issue and working on it with weeky "its a tough problem but we are on it" discord posts.

      Thank you for your quick reply ! Indeed i was confused because of the update date on bethesda.net and i thought it was the same version on nexus my bad. I upgraded from quantum storage to global stash and it's perfect, many thanks !

    I am trying to add item to scraplist but there are item that I can not add.
    For example: _gkx_Tire03a "{Scrap} Tire{{{Rubber, Ballistic Fiber}}}" [MISC:55430036] (from mod Big Junk"

    Is it because the name begins with an underscore?

      If you are using xEdit to modify formlists then you need to ask in the xEdit support forums as I dont know how that app works.

      It could be because you should add big junk remix as a master to the mod file with these formlists in it. Then, the item will be found. Save after adding master for it to become 'visible'. Hope that does the trick.

    The only issue I have encountered is using power armor workbenches with WIPAG.
    When crafting stuff for the WIPAG parts, it looks like the workbench is looking in the local workshop exclusively.

    I tried moving the esp orders a bit without success. Wondering where I should look at things to fix this behavior.
    This only happens when trying to work on power armor parts from this mod. When trying to work on vanilla or Raider overhaul parts, components are looked into the global stash correctly. Definitely something on WIPAG side then.
