PAUC - Power Armor Underwater Combat ...
is basicly just a simple race edit for the humanrace and Powerarmor race
which enables Underwater combat for Powerarmor users.
Any Powerarmor from vanilla to custom ones will work with this.
Any weapon from gun to melee and even throwables will work as they do above the surface.
this is may not the most immersive solution especially since most projectile weapons and throwables should either
simply not work underwater or atleast loose their abillity to shoot / fly further distances.
But ... if you use this mod as it was intended then you can finally uncover the secrets of the ocean floors in save conditions.
it always bothered me that we can just walk as usual in Powerarmors through the deepest areas of rivers and the ocean
but simply are not able to defend our selves against through mod added sea creatures and mirelurk variants.
they all are able to attack us underwater but we cant use the pole hook or a goddamn machete to defed our selves?
we even have waterbreathing Powerarmors. and there are even a bunch of chests and locations you can find beneath the surface.
Nevermind this should be able to finally solve this issue.
since i just created this without any further knowledge i cant promise this will work 100% bug free or even break something in general.
after a view quick tests here and there all worked fine to me. there is only one simple issue i cant do anything about. it will work always and even without powerarmor. which means if you draw your weapons while not wearing a powerarmor and swimming through water you can attack aswell. but this means you will walk through water and not swim until you leave the water and holster your weapons. this can be avoided by just not drawing your weapon while swimming.
if it happens...dont panic. all should be fine. This mod only works in 3rd person ! This Mod requires only the base game and no DLC but come on...its 2019...go and get them. atleast far harbor.
anyone who knows me knows that i'm not a big fan of FO4 whatsoever...but i love Far Harbor. i already played it atleast 5 times. Always with the same fishing and hunting releated setup so i will recommend a bunch of mods to use with my mod.
