Description
The Vault 13 Canteen has made its way to the Commonwealth. Finally, a reusable water container! All you have to do is figure out how to craft the damn thing. If only you had some schematics...
This mod has been designed to be as simple, compatible, and lightweight as possible. In that vein, do not expect to find the Vault 13 Canteen out anywhere in the world, or for the water that you have collected using the canteen to be used as an ingredient in anything.
Crafting
- Craft the Vault 13 Canteen under the HEALING category of the chemistry station
- Collect water by using an empty canteen while standing in a stream
- Purify any dirty water that you may have collected under the BEVERAGES category of the cooking station
The Vault 13 Canteen Schematics can be found in the Weston Water Treatment Plant.

If you have the Mod Configuration Menu installed you can optionally unlock the recipes that way instead.
Alternatively, open the console and enter the following to unlock all recipes:

The plugin is version 1.00, meaning that the Fallout 4 Version Check Patcher is required if you are running a version of the game older than 1.10.162.
Compatibility
The plugin does not contribute to your plugin limit and can be placed anywhere in your load order.
This mod should be compatible with almost all mods. A patch may be necessary for any mod that edits dirty or purified water.
