The pictures didn't show this info and it just makes things completely broken op, is there a way i can cut it out of the mod in anyway? Been looking through the mods files but cant find the line that adds in the bonus HP to the armor.
I'm having the same issue, I fought enemies that should've killed me in seconds, but they couldn't even damage me. Currently I just give the equipment to Nick as I'm not bothered with undownable followers, but I was hoping to use it for myself, this invincibility makes for a boring game.
It's screwed up FO4 GUI (provided nothing actually gives these bonuses in vanilla0. The HP is regeneration (per tick) value.. regen of 1k is insane. The 100 damage resistance it's percentage unlike the armor value, It makes you immune and causes raiders and other things to run away from you.
"rad" in upper frame isn't actualy "resist" but defense, so ost about bing immune to radiation is wrong. PA got rad armor of 300-200 and you get damaged.
There is some bug with this that equipping it permanently lowers carry capacity for some unknown reason. It stays same as before equipping, but removing item reduces carry capacity by 200.
For those of you who like this mod but don't want it to make you immortal; The main culprit is the health regeneration bonus from the shroud heavy armour magic effect record.
Its set to a magnitude of 1000 which makes your health regenerate faster than anything can do damage to you. Set it to 1 or zero in FO4Edit to fix this.
Same for the radiation resistance, any value over 100 makes you immune to rads completely so set it to something below 99 and above 1 to your taste.
Even after that its still kinda busted, but in an enjoyable way ;)
I know Kent gives you upgraded versions of the vanilla gear at lvl 25, 35, and 45. So: 1) Do his upgrades reflect your changes? 2) Do the glasses get upgraded by Kent?
Does this keep the same files for the actual textures for the suit ? I have a CBBE replacer that I actually like so I would love a later game viable shroud suit that has your upgrades ? Thank you for actually making this quest worthwhile .
I don't see it as OP. All I did was double the energy protection (even at level 25, laser weapons do a lot of damage) and add a few perks to make it more... comic book-y. As in, closer to what we (or at least I) would expect from the shroud based on the in game lore. Even the gun is weaker than a standard semi -auto variant. Remember, the highest level of this is meant to take you past level 80. Giving room for other bits leaves their addition up to you, and the weave is up to you as well.
Is it a bug then cuz i dont take dmg when i have the silver shroud costume on? I dont have god mod and i take dmg with every other armor i wear but with the silver shroud costume it doesnt even like drop by 1. im on lvl 51
I designed the top end armor for level 80. level 51 is 30 levels below that. There is a built in damage resist that is intended to let you shrug off hits from random nobody's while walking or running from place to place. Perhaps I will weaken it and provide an optional version.
