As long as advanced weave is vanilla, it should work. All this mod does is change a variable.
In the game after running the missions and Tinker Tom gives you the ability to weave the ballistic fiber, the variable changes from 0 to 1. My mod auto changes the variable to 1 at the start, giving you access as if you spoke to him.
I'll have to look at it, as this is the first time I've heard of this
hey bub I've had this mod in the past and it worked fine but now getting back into Fo4 it's not giving me the option to add the weave. Like the armor stations give me the option of adding a weave but when i try to there is no weave options. I have ballistic fibers and all the needed perks but i can't upgrade any armors be them modded or base. I don't know what I'm missing
yes I do and i even gave myself 10000 ballistic fibers just to make sure and nothing is popping up. I even did the console command to toggle it off and back on and nothing is popping up. The only armor based mods that i have is the NCR ranger armor, Children of Atom fanatic armors, and a couple of mods that add in some Enclave armors. None of them state that they mess with the railroad weaves.
EDIT: I just tested it and worked perfectly. Remember this only works on vanilla items as if you were not using any mods. I tested it on a casual outfit and was fine. It could be, you are trying to simply just add it to clothing that never originally allowed Ballistic Weave.
Makes no sense why RR is the only faction able to make ballistic weave anyway, few random people hiding in a basement for some reason have better technology than BoS or Institute.... Probably because they are the sh***st faction so Bethesda just said 'hey let's give them something unique and overpowered to make them more interesting".
Well, lore explains via P.A.M. and the D.I.A. caches - many DIA projects were black (officially didn't exist), and if the Institute or BoS don't have it then it's a good chance it involves reverse-engineered alien tech. Yes, it's a game/faction balance thing, but all games have tons of them.
btw, you can also, apparently, open the console mode and type "set RailroadClothingArmorModAvailable to 1" (without speech marks) and this should give you the capability without needing Railroad (or this mod). Not tried though as I always play Railroad at least until unlocking weave.
I know it makes sense because Bethesda forced it to make sense, but it's such a lame idea. It just feels dumb to have to side with the hippies of the game to unlock the one alternative to wearing power armor. And like, how many people would realistically join the railroad anyways? It's a world where people are just trying to get by so wtf is going to say, "ya know what, f*#@ trying to survive. I'm gonna dedicate my life to saving robots instead." So retarded
This mod just simply unlocks the vanilla ballistic weave at the start. So if you can add ballistic weave to clothing from Nuka World or Far Harbor in the vanilla game, then this will work!
Я рад, что он работает, однако он не должен работать с AWKCR и / или Armorsmith Extended, как указано на странице описания, он просто разблокирует переплетение, как если бы вы разблокировали его из RR.
