This is especially useful to people using perk point overhauls. In my game I do not get perk points after reaching level 100. Every time the game tells me to "Pick a new perk in the Pip-Boy" I want to scream "I have no perk points you dummy!!!".
Really appreciate mods like these, thank you mate. Ringing endorsement from me! :)
I've been trying to reverse engineer it to get rid of the "Hold [TAB] to open the Perk Chart" message which pops up in the same manner. It's literally the last message I've been unable to remove. If you're still hanging around, any advice?
How can I get rid of the hold tab to level up menu icon (Y for xbox controller). I have maxed out my desired perks and now sitting on a bunch of extra perk points that I'll never use. So please show me how to: - Get rid of the message. - [OR] Remove the extra perk points
Normally I wouldn't mind but this level up button is in the way of my Vertibird World Travel mod by SKK50. So I need to remove the reminder somehow. THanks in advance!
I just want it to stay enabled, as it is I have to re-enable it every time I load the game no matter what I do. Even setting the DLCList and Plugins files to read-only with it enabled doesn't work for me.
Some people just like saving a whole lot of them up to be able to spend a dozen at once and don't like the constantly flashing reminder while they're waiting for the 'pot to grow'. You could instantly fill up an entire perk that way, for example.
It's really kind of like saving up caps for something you're looking for at the traders.
Any idea why this mod doesn't work? I have other mods that removes notifications, like "You're carrying too much and can't run" and they works fine. But mod endorsed anyway, these annoying things require attention.
I hope that link still works somewhere in the distant future after 2 or 3 centuries of cryo idling... If memory serves, esl/lightmasters aren't mentioned in that guide but just look for more, they're there.
There's also more modding guides right here on the nexus, youtube, discord.... But somehow I managed to screw up both my linux and windows systems and lost my links/booksmarks and now I'm just too bored and lazy to look for all of those links AGAIN... I've just gotten back to FO myself after a long break so trying to set everything up again and learning to use the FO Editor is taking most of my focus... ...Which I don't have a whole lot of anyway.
EDIT/UPDATE:
OK, you newbies BREAK MY HEART, I see my yonger version in you, so I found a couple of more links for you -BUT- they are pretty OLD... Still useful info but just old. Just don't blame me for link rot if they don't work when you finally wake up from cryo:
