I have updated the scrap list to include any new type of tree that A Forest might add within settlements, these are all scrapable. Grass and bushes are not but you can remove a lot of it if choosing to use another scraping mod, at your own risk.
If you find a tree isn't highlighting to allow scrapping, Use the console command ModPos Z 100 to raise it higher. (May need to go up 200 at times) Some are placed too deep to activate the scrap option while looking at them.
Good evening! This is a REALLY great mod. However, there are some (very few) areas where the transformation from post-war trees to pre-war trees causes objects or terrain to be blocked by trees, or for trees to clip through structures. I can manually fix such issues with the console, but would you like for me (and other users to report examples) of these situations so you can make updates/changes to the mod accordingly?
sure, if you give details like Form ID location and possibly screenshots so I know where to look. There will probably be quite a few I'm sure. I could sticky this post so you and others can reply to it.
It's gonna take me some time to comb over the entire Commonwealth, but starting in Sanctuary:
1) Tree Sticking Out of Sidewalk & Road - This tree was originally smaller and fit in the small green space between the ruined sidewalk and the ruined road, but now it overlaps with both. Should probably be moved back behind the sidewalk, either next to or behind the bushes in that area.
2) Tree Clipping Through Ruined House, Part 1 - This tree clips through the wall of the "Workshop House" in Sanctuary and should be moved back and/or upwards to avoid clipping through either the wall or the roof. Might be a good idea to delete the leaning trees positioned behind this tree and move this one into their place.
4) Tree Clipping Through Ground- This tree can probably just be moved upwards, maybe have its scale reduced if necessary to keep from clipping through other trees.
5) Tree Clipping Through Hedge- This one might be possible? Not sure if a tree would grow through a hedge like that after 200 years.
Why my LOD is not working? I don't see trees at the distance unless i get closer but this mod suppose to have LOD, it also happens with other tree mods with LOD
Are there any other environmental mods that mesh well with A Forest that people would recommend?
Because i already have this mod as is on another MO2 instance and wanted to use it again but combined with other environmental mods this time so my visuals aren't completely the same for this playthrough.
I was wondering if you would allow me to use this mod in my vanilla map overhaul, I would like to use the trees and stuff, hopefully you see this. You will be credited ofc and you will have your names on the Ingame monument I have for all my contributors
There is none. Show screen shots and post your load order? You are using likely True Grass or some other grass mod along with this. This mod does not touch Glowing Sea cells.
Was pretty interested by this mod for a more "abandoned" world compared to vanilla, however the one thing that had me uninstalling was that numerous buildings would practically disappear or turn into 2 non-collidable faces. Was really immersion breaking. Don't have any other mods that modify the world in any sort of way and disabling this one resolved the issue. It's a shame
I've been running around with this mod for some time now and have not seen any disappearing buildings, maybe you could provide some useful information... maybe locations, maybe screen shots. maybe something so these mod authors could possible attempt a fix if needed.
It is compatible, I managed it 8 months ago, but I can't remember if I had to mess with the LODs to get it to work long distance. Looked and played beautifully though. Gonna redo my modlist, so I'll see if I had to mess with the LODs.
If someone asked me "what is one mod that you cannot play Fallout 4 without?" before, I would have given an unenlightened answer like Start Me Up or the unofficial patch. How mistaken I would have been. The true desert island mod, the true fix for this game, the one that makes the main quest bearable, is this mod. Bravo sir(s) and/or madam(s), bravo indeed.

3) Tree Clipping Through Ruined House, Part 2- The second half of the "composite tree" clipping through the "Workshop House" in Sanctuary.

5) Tree Clipping Through Hedge- This one might be possible? Not sure if a tree would grow through a hedge like that after 200 years.
6) Another Tree Clipping Through Roof of Ruined House -? This tree probably just needs to be elevated so it doesn't clip through the roof, maybe moved a little to the right to center it between the two houses.
7) Elm Tree Intersects With Fence ?- This tree clips through/overlaps with the nearby picket fence (fence was removed before taking this photo).
8) Tree Cluster Intersects With Fence - Several trees intersect/overlap with the picket fence. Coords for each tree can be found in screenshot here.
edit: nevermind i already found the vivid mod that causes the problem, it's already fixed thanks for the help!

But it also has a removal mod for grass at glowing sea here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/63083
Veldt is the heavy grass in glowing sea, yes.
I'm wondering if this mod leaves any part of the game barren - is there any part that doesn't have lush trees?

Download and test it or don't. Mods are free yet take up to years of work.
