    About the 6.0


    It will only work properly if you:
    1. Start a new game
    2. Use a save that had never had "The Forest" installed


    For old users: You will have to use the console command "Unlock" on the railcar or kill/pickpocket Jerry the Trader in the Commonwealth. His dialogue and quest will not work.

    EDIT: Thanks! Already at over 30 Downloads in only 5 days. Given that my TSBs are always in niche spaces like this one, that's actually quite good. I have TSBs that been up for 5 months that have fewer downloads.

      Yeah but I hope that in two weeks a version with a completely new introduction quest will come out. The quest won't work well with older versions.

    Just finished playing your awesome mode, really like it! The music, locations, all the atmosphere is great and a little lore on a side makes it even better. Haven't found two anomalies (except mine and tower) and secret weapon. And maybe I saw Betsy... I don't know, what that thing in the water was.

    Anyway, we'll be looking forward to yours new modes and playing through existing (Wilderness is marvelous, my fellow modmaker)!

      I looked at your video its great!

      The first time I went to The Forest I had "Commonwealth Captives" active.
      And so when I killed the raiders to make my escape in the miniquest, I found a pretty naked young maiden helpless tied up by them.

      Since I always play how I would act in the real world, I did not explore much that first time and my focus became to get her home to the Commonwealth alive and to safely put her into one of my settlements.

      This was not easy though since she was much more vilnerable due to being level 2 and the only Armor and clothes she had was what I could loot of the dead raiders.

      Still it was quite the expereince to wa;k with her this great distance searching for the entry point (it was an early version no map markers) to get her out safely.

      Often did I have to reload a save when she died when we got attacked.
      I usaully dont reload saves for such reasons, but in this case i had to make an exception I was determined to rescue her.

    I appear to be stuck as the area around the big lake with the ferry landing, hard crashes any time I get close to it.  I'm not sure of what to do. if anyone can help. I'd appreciate it.

    This DLC looks to be great and I haven't got to it yet === partly because of MY inability to understand all the continued method of updating that arrive every other day (confusing).  I began with early #5.1 then the 5.? esm only then a couple of days later the NEW full main, then a couple of days later the NEW 5.3 esm only --- that's when the map marker disappeared -  so I have just redownloaded the NEW MAIN file {again} to get the map marker back .... I am sorry to complain but downloading a 2g mod over and over take about 35 min because of the Nexus slow interphase.... would be helpful if the esm showed the version # when highlighted in order to keep track  of  what has been loaded - or a bit more detail of what esm only download works with what mains  ... I am sorry if I am sounding like a pain in the butt - but I am just so confused by what's requires to be downloaded and when,,,, really just confused and frustrated..

      There is always the changelog on the front page. You can use the optional updates to overwrite the old .esm instead of having to download the whole package.

    is survival mode the recommended mode? or can i do this in a normal save

      Both. But I only tested this in survival mode.

      I use FlashyJoe's Advanced Needs 76, and its survival traits play well, too.

    I was curious if the precombines could be redone so that we can scrap old buildings at the settlements especially for those who use sim settlements / 2 so that we could if nothing else set up some sort of supply outpost to restock ammo or weapons or just to put an actual settlement up.

      I uploade the 5.3 esm for testing purposes as I don't have time. Please feel free to check it out.
      I didn't include scrap recipes as I can't test the game today so consider this a hotfix only.

    This mod completely broke my game! For some reason, it was not loading other mods properly and acted like some of them were just installed. When I loaded a game with the mod installed, my modded companions were not there and I got the "missing settlement mods" message from Workshop Framework.
