I'll use this sticky for changelogs, and a place for suggestions/additions.
1.1 Changelog:

Patch 1.1 has been officially pushed out, here's what I did:
- Made concrete and stone footsteps louder, as they were oddly quiet compared to the rest.
- Same deal with wood, but also added new/replaced some sounds
- Totally revamped metal to use a different set of sounds. People have been pointing out how obnoxiously loud they were previously, so now they use a moderate and more "modest" sound set. Let me know what you think
1.2.1 I've done my best to fix the following issues:
- Pavement sounding like metal, totally reworked
- Falling Sounds being too quiet
- Missing sounds in some rare occassions
Mod has gotten quite a bit louder now, the Footstep slider is your friend in this situation.
Download the new file and let me know what you think, make sure to completely uninstall all previous versions and patches. This has been quite exhausting frankly, and with school starting soon this will be the final version for awhile. Expect a hotfix at most here and there. Otherwise, I hope you can enjoy the mod as it is.
Nice update, I checked the mod and thought u might want feedback.

(outdated/ all fixed) - I think the loudness of the sounds is balanced compared to each other, it is now possible to adjust the overall volume via footstep bar in the menu. - as for the menu sounds they are pretty solid for COD lovers. for me, it was kinda annoying while using pip-boy and scrolling so turned it off. - as for the hit sounds, I can't really say much because I use Kill Tips and Hit Sound mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/41557). However, they pair really well and feel awesome. well done. - I am afraid there is an issue with rock and road sounds as stalkzoid mentioned bellow. I was not noticed before the update. it is still a solid work but I am with Sralkzoid in this. - About crashing, I played around 4 hours with the update and had no issue.
- falling sounds might need a rebalance, I think they are less audible compared to the rest. walking on wood for example is a lot louder than landing on it. - companion sounds are ok in my opinion since I like audible footstep sounds. like Tarkov! others might have other tastes.
I will update this comment if noticed anything else :). Well done in general and wish it helps.
Glad to hear that Blot. My intentions were never to give a todo list but suggestions and insights from a different point of view so U can improve your mod while U are at it and the fire is on. Stay safe.
For those who keep asking for what armor i'm using in the screens, I would first recommend to look for other people that have asked the same and that I've responded to. Otherwise here has been my response.
Ardent's armory Discord has plenty of great armor porters and the author of a lot of the armor I use in my screenshots.
If you're still somehow confused, I'll link it for your convenience right here.
hey, when I move around with military fatigues or certain full body outfits like military fatigues moving sounds are quiet but when I walk around naked the sounds work properly. How can I fix this? Is it a keyword issue?
Some of the footstep sounds are much louder than the others. I'll be on concrete and it's very loud, then walking onto some trash and it's whisper quiet. I actually thought the sound was missing until I cleared all the raiders out, I couldn't hear them over the gunfire.
Besides that, this is my personal favorite footstep sounds mod. Good stuff here.
Which kind of footsteps are you talking about? The ones from the player can be adjusted from the ingame slider, and the NPC ones can be lowered by deactiviating the associated esl plugin. Otherwise, for the hit sounds on the player, I highly recommend this new mod instead to overwrite mine, it's of much higher quality.
how do you adjust the sound of the footsteps? For some reason the concrete, dirt and wood sounds are loud then the other effects. Can you put more details on how to adjust it? I'm not really good at this kid of stuff lols. Sorry Ethnet.
Hey I'm not hearing the bullet cracks and gun shots over my head and stuff. Did I mistake this MOD for something else or did I just do something wrong with the installation?
