Dan is in Bumker Hill, but the Girl I don't find. May be a conflict with a Mod, that set 2 more Children to Bunker Hill? (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16000?tab=files)
same here, Dan is there and Amelia is no where to be seen and the only mod i got which effect bunkerhill more then this mod is the oen with 2 children in Bunkerhill, but remove that one doesn't bring Amelia there..
My refid was fe06cfa6, but you may need to find your own first 2 numbers and click on Dan will give you the 2 first numbers for me was Dans refid fe06cfa7 so the 2 first numbers for me was FE.
Also a tip for you SS2 users: she for some reason does not accept plot assigning after this (even though Dan does from the start) but if you use a bat file to setpv “bAllowMove 1” and also “addkeyword WorkshopAllowMove” (to be able to move her to different settlements) you can then move her to other settlement and move her back to bunker hill immediately after that so then her SS2 stuff works! Don’t know why it’s so but hey it works..
EDIT: or you can just use console to set those commands.
Is Honest Dan a Tourist for the Railroad? If not, he totally should be. His stance of simply not caring if Amelia's a Synth or not is just the sort of thing they'd regard highly, his being Stockton's employee quite aside.
I never even thought about what becomes of them after we free Amelia and she and Honest Dan disappear, and when discovering this mod I thought it made sense just before thinking a bit like you; it would also make sense in the canon that Amelia would be accompanied by Honest Dan (who would work with the Railroad) in safety away from the Commonwealth now that she's at risk of being known as a synth by everyone after the events in Covenant...
Ok, I just HAVE to warn you all... I recommend you all to complete Human Error AFTER the battle of Bunker Hill because Amelia and Dan died in the chaos in my current playthrough when I was testing out this mod.
Hi, I installed this mod yesterday, Dan was already at bunker hill but Amelia didn't show up until the following (game) day. Niether had any dialogue at first but that seemed to fix itself. I can't assign them to work, when I try they just stand there and the "follower assigned" message never shows. Also I can't trade with them.
I do have just over 400 mods installed but none that affect bunker hill, but it's still possible that somethings conflicting I guess. Would anyone have any ideas on this problem?
just putting this out there apparently Amelia(who actually is a synth) gets sent for a mind wipe and sent away after the events unfold sooo for Dan this makes sense but Amelia is gone one way or another sadly
Quoting directly from the wiki: "Alternatively, if Old Man Stockton knows the Sole Survivor as a member of the Railroad from having completed Boston After Dark he will confirm her identity as a memory wiped synth and reveal the Institute took his daughter away and replaced her with the current one that is present, keeping her as she is the closest thing to his daughter." (https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Amelia_Stockton)
So it makes some sense that she would be in Bunker Hill after these events, although we also could argue that Old Man Stockton would send her away to protect her. Either way, I do think the mod makes sense and is lore-friendly.
Old Man Stockton will say he sent her away, I just got this dialog last night. I'm not sure what triggered it, but I have completed Human Error (saving Amelia, obviously), Boston After Dark, I have Bunker Hill as a settlement, and I just destroyed the Institute with the Minutemen. I think the dialog started with him commenting Amelia will be safer now that the Institute is gone. When I asked if Amelia is a synth, he said she is, but does not know it, she believes she is his daughter. He then said she was traumatized by the Covenant incident and was sent away to live with some family. I do not recall him saying she had her memories wiped again, but maybe he did.
Fun extra: if you have mod companion Heather with you, after this dialog she spontaneously says something about Dr. Chambers's experiments actually working after all (or something to that effect), since she did correctly determine Amelia was a synth.
Alternatively this mod can be proven useful after i got rid of Kessler, Old Man Stockton, Kay and Deb as well as her daughter and several of those caravan NPC's that are not marked in the workshop. My version of Bunker Hill is a reality where all the essential npc's are killed and pretty much Bunker Hill is operated vacant with only the three caravans, Trashcan Carla, Doc Weathers and Lucas Miller. Amelia and Honest Dan will serve as settlers unaware what became of the original settlers at Bunker Hill. Oh and Joe Savoldi and his son are dead as well. So yeah two settlers and three oblivious traveling merchants is all that i need in this settlement.

[EDIT] Solved by installing with Vortex.
